Chapter 13Terry and the others were out in front of the church the next morning, doing some minor yard work, when George’s car pulled up. Hurrying over to greet him and Kel, Terry was surprised to see Mary was with them. One look at their faces and he knew something was wrong. “Ter, go change into something a bit better,” George said. “We have a meeting with Mr. Abernathy in half an hour.” “What’s going on?” “I’ll tell you when you get back.” Terry raced inside and five minutes later was back, dressed in clean jeans and the shirt he’d worn the first time he’d gone to the lawyer’s office.
