Chapter 41 The Call
Millicent's POV The day has been busy and longer than I ever expected. Maybe that is because of the impending stress on my heart and mind, but maybe it's really just because it feels like the customers have been coming and going nonstop.. If you have ever worked in a restaurant, then you will know that when it is busy that there is no way to get away from the chaos.. You just have to bare through it and just hope for the best. So here I am, just trying to get through this extremely busy shift, taking care of everyone the best that I can and doing my normal thing, just making sure to stay in my tunnel vision so I don't get distracted by Hannah. We normally help each other out throughout the shifts together.. Mostly me just picking up her slack, since most of the time she can't handle the
