Her Guardian Devil

Susan is 15 years old when her mother died after suffering from a viral fever for half a month. From her childhood she only knew her mother is her only family. Her mother Jennet was a strong, independent and beautiful woman. She hold a position of marketing director in a small profitable company in Chester City. She was at her age 40 when she left Susan alone in the world with a few well-wishers and a close friend Soniya. Soniya worked with Jennet in the same company for more than 10 years and knew Susan when she was only a 5 years old girl.

When Jennet was Hospitalised Soniya was one who took care of her friend however, Jennet didn't sustain her health longer and day by day her health was degrading gradually. When doctors say their last word, "Mrs. Jennet has only a few hours left." Soniya was holding Susan close to her...Susan had a blank expression on her face and her eyes seemed so emotionless. Soniya looked at her and cried bitterly but Susan had no emotion. She didn't cried even once. When the ward boy and doctor came out of the ICU with the dead body Soniya just noticed a blank expression on Susan's face. Susan hold her mother's icy cold palm for one last time and then the ward boy took the dead body.

The funeral was arranged by the head management of the company as Jennet was one of the most important director. Everyone was sad, they said their last prayers at the graveyard, except Susan and lastly the body was buried in the grave.

POV of Soniya

Susan didn't eat, sleep or talk properly for the last week.. and even at the graveyard she didn't speak a word to anyone or even with me. I am worried about that girl. She was always so bright and had a smile on her face whenever I visited Jennet at their home.

But now the girl in front of me is not the same Susan... I felt a cry inside my heart seeing Susan devastated completely.

Amid my thought my attention was caught at the gate of the church... a large number of people wearing black suit and black aviators suddenly entered the church yard and stand in two rows at the gate making an aisle. A tall young man enter through the gate and walked towards us. I went forward and one stand before him. The man said, "Hi, my name is Sabastian... Sabastian Fullbaster.." I was surprised hearing the name..."Fullbaster, one of the business tycoons of UK"...

I was so surprised that for a moment I didn't knew what to say... After 5 seconds...I was broken from my daze as Mr. Fullbaster said, "I am here to meet my sister..Susan".

POV Susan

The past weeks were like a nightmare... it was like my whole world came to an end and I was in an abyss of sorrow.. I didn't know what to say or do when they brought me my sweet mother's dead body..

I hold her palm with a hope..that everything is big lie...She will wake up and call me Suzzy...Surprise!!!! This time I beat you with my acting... Yes...that was our favourite game...Surprising each other...But she didn't wake up and the ward boy took her body...

At the church everyone was crying and consoling me and aunt Soniya but to me their words came at a very low pitch and from far away...I couldn't hear them properly. I was only watching the casket where my mother was sleeping peacefully...I was thinking of the good times we had together. Planning each other birthdays, weekend trips, yearly long trips and long journeys... Aunt Soniya would sometime said to us, "You two look like sisters not mother daughter duo." and my mom would laugh out loud. I was hoping to see her laugh again...

I was lost in my thoughts and suddenly felt a hand on my shoulder.. Its aunt Soniya..

POV Soniya

When Mr. Fullbuster said I am here for my sister I was so shocked that I screamed "What!!!!!!!!!!!".. Who is your sister... Susan??? Mr. Fullbuster looked annoyed due to my screaming and others were looking at us. Mr. Sabastian said, "Can you please call my sister?"

The story is yet to unfold. How could Susan have a big brother she have never met and her mother never spoke of.

What happened between her father and mother that her mother has never talked about him to her. Not even his name or where he lives? Susan is now left alone in the world with a sudden arrival of his brother. Is he even her blood related brother or there is another mystery behind it.
