In this story Love and Spell: The secrets of Fecund Ville, a little and humble town holds numerous secrets that would gradually unfold with the desperate need for revenge and rebirth. Here, love and spell drive the protagonists, Delly and Elsie, and the villain (Mamu) to undergo parallel quests for their redemption. As one protagonist intends to redeem his career, the other intends to preserve her lineage, but their goals align to a bigger one - to redeem the town. On the other hand, the antagonist is filled with desperation to redeem himself from a long-time curse that had befallen him as a result of a failed commitment to love. The secrets of Fecund Ville are filled with hidden stories of interwoven histories and destinies that would gradually unfold as a result of a chaotic fate that befell Fecund Ville. The story took place in the 1960’s, in a fictional town called Fecund Ville. It was an old-fashioned and simple town, with simple residents who predominantly practised farming. The cultural behaviour and norms of its inhabitants was unconventional and sustainable livelihood. Despite the Luddite values of the town, it was finely developed and economically successful. This town contains a number of secrets and mysteries that would gradually unfold, throughout the story’s development. Within this charming town, a haunting reality remained persistent as a consequence of its pivotal history. The tale of a vicious werewolf that hunted the peaceful night at full moon had spread among the town’s inhabitants and visitors for generations. Stories of ghastly murders and mysterious cases that occurred over 70 years ago, circulated and left the town in fear. It was said that a man had been cursed with werewolf features and to never to find love again. In his attempts to advance to several women, they would reject him, leading him to target them and their lovers on full moon transformation days. In the midst of the puzzling atmosphere in Fecund Ville, a 33-year-old undercover detective called Delly found himself assigned to uncover the truth surrounding the werewolf speculations. Although the town had been on a peaceful spree, the sudden disappearance of the werewolf needed a meaningful explanation. This was the kind of case Delly was passionate for. Born into a family of mixed parents, Australian mother and African parents, Delly had grown up with a love for adventure. The 33 year-old had established a passion for investigation and had dreamt of working as an undercover, right from childhood. With consistent hard work and connection. While growing in the profession, Delly had worked on several dangerous cases. His intelligence and resilience to his career pushed him to many opportunities at an early stage. He started his career with a very impressive record, solving about seven mysterious and crime cases. This he achieved in just 9 years. Yet, leading to his assignment to Fecund Ville, he started deteriorating in his performance. He had blown his cover occasionally and failed to solve a number of cases. He was at a verge between losing his ranks and being widely recognized, all depending on his result on the werewolf case at Fecund Ville. With optimism to revive his career, he embraced the new case. With ten years of a bittersweet and chequered experience in solving crime and mystery cases, he appeared to be on his last opportunity to solve the dreaded mystery and save his career. Delly accepted the task with a firm determination to liberate the residents of Fecund Ville. In his little time spent, blending in the town’s environment, Delly made little friends. He established a sudden friendship with a man called Mr. Breech, based on his frequent visits to his café. Mr. Breech was a well-to-do businessman who owned a successful café, the town’s best café. He produced his own coffee and tea plants and his café was the town’s favourite spot for breakfast. On another routine visit to Mr. Breech’s café for breakfast, Delly engaged him in a conversation about the werewolf. His desperation for an answer and manner of interrogation stirred up suspicion, as Mr. Breech almost discovered his hidden identity as an undercover detective. With rapid calculation, Delly made up a fake explanation that he is a writer, in order to clear the suspicion and divert further questions. Although not convinced with Delly’s explanation, Mr. Breech revealed to Delly about the oldest and only person who lived to witness the age of the werewolf. He informed him about old Mr. Orwell and his caretaker, Levy. It was in the midst of this conversation that Elsie appeared from the kitchen in order to refill the coffee machine. Her obvious beauty and aura attracted Delly and they could feel a mutual connection urging instantly. Elsie will play a significant role in Delly's forthcoming discoveries and development. She would be the town’s hope in order to defeat its imminent nightmares and disasters. Elsie was a significant character in Delly’s life. She was the pretty and youthful daughter of Mr. Breech, adopted into his family. Unknown to everyone, excluding Mr. Breech, Elsie was a direct descendant of two of the most despised persons in Fecund Villes history - Mamu and Willow. The history of the infamous couple was the source to Fecund’s Villes cumulative disasters.The relationship that would play a critical part in the story’s developing incidents. Elsie and Delly were left alone in the cafe and the pair exchanged introductions. With the intention of developing a stronger acquaintance with Elsie, Delly invited to pay a visit to his house at her convenience. Elsie heed to Delly’s offer and visited him on the days leading to the full moon, after sneaking from her home. She tried keeping her frequent meet with Delly a secret from her father. He had warned her against making friends with the residents, in order to keep her secrets from leaking. At the period of their meet, Delly and Elsie created a stronger bond and deeper relationship. They shared their deepest secrets with each other, but withheld their most confidential secret from the other. Elsie withheld her secret about her ancestry and the magical pendant she bore. In the same manner, Delly refrained from exposing his mission as an undercover in Fecund Ville, intending to unveil the mystery behind the werewolf. The same werewolf which would be a motive for the achievement of their diverse purposes, which would eventually align in their obligation to achieve a compulsory greater goal - to utterly conquer Mamu. As Delly dug more intensely into the investigation, he discovered a variety of mysterious characters whose fate were associated with the werewolf's curse. Two of such characters were Mamu and Willow, Elsie’s foreparents. Mamu had once been a human with a heart of love for those around him. The handsome man had been a person filled with charisma and desired by the young women in Fecund Ville. This was about one hundred years earlier. Eventually, fate decided to introduce Mamu into the life of a beautiful young lady, Willow. Willow had grown up in Fecund Ville and had lived her life practising charms, which she seldom used to her advantage. On suspicion of her practices as the cause of certain general misfortunes, like crop failure or famine, the people accused her of being a witch. She was banished from the town and she lived somewhere in its outskirts. When Mamu coincidentally set his eyes on her at the Town’s market, he would push further to woo her. They finally fell in love with each other and engaged in intimate activities that led to her child’s conception. However, things began to turn south in their relationship when she discovered another woman in Mamu’s love life. Mamu’s infidelity left Willow so heartbroken that she casted a spell which turned him into a werewolf. The curse gave him unaging longevity, while still mortal, and a perpetual unrequited love. Willow also forged a golden pendant with her blood mixture. It was created to protect her unborn child and her anticipated blood descendants. The pendant could only be put to use by her bloodline, as it had the power to provide invincibility and hide the scents of its bearer. The latter was necessary because, in addition to perceiving the human scent, Mamu could also smell the blood of those related to him. This he could use to identify his descendant and prey on whoever. Mamu, now a damned human wolf. His downward transition into a vile villain had been prompted by his defunct love companion, Willow, who found out about his disloyalty to their commitment and punished him with the awful spell. Delly and Elsie had agreed to refrain from meeting on the day of the full moon and he decided to use the day to carry out his investigation, searching for clues. In his search for evidence, while taking a random stroll, he identified Levy from Mr. Breech's description. Levy was a huge and physically strong young man who lived with Mr. Orwell, by the town's borders. Levy was well built in features and had been in the secret intelligence service in his past. He was framed by his team, lynched and abandoned in the outer areas of Fecund Ville forest, for dead. Mr. Orwell had sighted him by chance and took him in for revival. Since then, he had been a loyal associate who assisted him in his daily needs. Delly saw an opportunity to seek out Mr. Orwell, whom he had hoped could provide him with the right answers. Mr. Orwell had resided in Fecund Ville many years back and had played a pivotal role in Mamu's disappearance. Delly stalked Levy's movements at the town's mall, and trailed behind him in order to get to Mr. Orwell. Delly’s determined operation seemed to suddenly backfire when Levy discovered he had been followed and would evade his trails. He sneakily attacked Delly, knocking him out of consciousness and bound him in a basement. After a few hours in captivity, Levy led Delly to Mr. Orwell. Mr. Orwell deeply engaged him in the historical story about his old time relationship with his lover, Harriet, and Mamu's involvement in their lives. At the night of the full moon, amidst the clashing mesh of fate and secrets, Delly and Elsie reunited in the serene comfort of his home. The two found comfort in each other's company. Their accelerating love bloomed in the midst of the town’s tension, forming an inseparable bond that would manifest a crucial role in their fight against the evil werewolf's plots. At the hour the full moon took shape, acute tension took hold of Fecund Ville. Mamu, stimulated by his desire for revenge and the prerequisite to end his accursed living condition, emerged from the deep forest to inflict horror upon the town. His intention was to seek and terminate Willow's descendant, Elsie, and then obtain the magical pendant that could cancel the curse. In their time together, Elsie revealed to Delly about a secret she had held from everyone, until it was necessary. With Mamu’s anticipated return, she perceived it as the best time to reveal it. She explains the need to destroy the pendant which would also weaken Mamu, destroying the longevity curse and making him age with all the time he had spent alive. Delly and Elsie were compelled to embark on a dangerous adventure to destroy the magical pendant in a volcanic well concealed in the depth of a dark cave in the forest. This exhausting journey would be one filled with ambushes, traps and discouragements. The trio relied on their sheer will and unity to manoeuvre the unexpected perils. Meanwhile, Mamu's eager search for Elsie and the magic pendant intensifies.His werewolves minions were once innocent Fecund Ville townsfolk he had abducted and infected. As midnight wore on, the battle between Mamu’s army and the town's vigilantes heated, its brutality brewed to a culminating point. In the midst of the mayhem and peril, Delly and Elsie gained increasing empowerment from their love for each other, confronting the terrors together with firmness and resolve. While having their discussion, the two were attacked by a werewolf who badged into their homes - one of the bloodthirsty minions under Mamu’s control. At the brink of death, they were unexpectedly and instantly saved by Levy who neutralised the monster. He had been watching over them, under the instruction of Mr. Orwell. In an attempt to escape the hunt and chaos at Fecund Ville, Elsie was left in a dilemma, knowing that the magical pendant could only protect her alone. After moments of pondering, Elsie realised that the pendant only worked for Willow's bloodline because a genuine connection and love could only make it work. She eventually tried activating the powers of the pendant with the magical chant that Willow passed down through her descendants and the pendant worked for the three. After the astonishing unfold of the pendant’s power, the three headed towards Mr. Orwell’s house for supply that would sustain their journey into the forest. Within the safety of the magical pendant, they walked in the midst of the chaos unravelling in the streets. Delly, Elsie and Levy proceeded into the forest in a horse-driven buggy. The forest turned out to be a hellhole of trial, danger and difficulties for the group. Mamu realized that Elsie may have been informed to destroy the pendant and had left for the forest in an attempt to do so. He gathered the other werewolves and together they chased the group into the forest. In this forest the three characters became the only hope Fecund Ville had to be free from ongoing terrors of the werewolf, Mamu. The trio offered their distinct characteristics and strengths that complimented each other and filled in for the weakness of either. Delly, the lead male character, possessed determination that glowed brighter than the sun that illuminates the earth. His skills as a detective provided relevance in their decision making and inspection for clues. By his side was the courageous and strong-willed Elsie. The lead female character possessed the magic pendant which saved the trio on near-death occasions. Delly and Elsie’s undying expression of their love towards each other served as continuous motivation for the two. Levy was the third companion. He brought his quietness, weopon’s knowledge and extraordinary strength, which helped in repelling the powerful forces that threatened their safety. His loyalty to the two protagonists was engraved in his resolve to protect them until their mission was completed. Their journey through the forest was driven by a fixed motive, which revolved around the pendant—the simple piece of jewellery that possessed a power capable of destruction and protection. Their aligned mission was to get to the cave concealed within the depth of the forest and destroy the cursed pendant. By doing so they would prevent Mamu’s malicious plan of obtaining it and inflicting further damage on Fecund Ville.The whispering forests retrieved ancient secrets, and the sinister cave challenged their bravery and spirit. However, no challenge was as formidable as the desperate chase by the vengeful werewolf that lurked in the dark of night full moon. Into the forest, the chase continued. The prologue of this story creates a path for an exciting adventure that is encompassed with love, revenge, mystery, and the ongoing battle between good and evil. As time ticks on through the pages of this story, the destinies of these characters would cross paths. An obligation would be born by a shared destiny and common victimhood to face the evil that terrorises their town.
