Stalker

Every night since meeting Trevlan I've dreamt of him. Which was as unnerving as feeling his presence not far from our territory boundaries. I knew he was there, I could feel him. I had told him to leave. My training with Kelson had reached a new high. I could manage to bring a fountain from the pond, build a small wall from the Earth, cause a small wind, and a small flame in the palm of my hands. I flash back to the last time I'd used my fire. Watching Rafe's clothing catch fire had been such a victorious feeling. I'd killed the man who killed my mate. Well, one of them. Rack had escaped and who knows who else? When I'd been rescued by Kelson, I could see the charred remains of the Ridge Valley pack house and more than half of their wolves remains. I had avenged my husband. And I felt no remorse. They had led us there under false pretense. The promise of a treaty. I knew they were liars and abusers but I never thought my father would sanction the death of his only daughter. When they attacked, Dex protected me. He was the hero I'd always know he was. He made the ultimate sacrifice, trading his life for my safety. "Let her leave, you can have me. I'M the alpha." He had plead. He kept to his human form to avoid threatening them. As I had tried to run, Rafe stabbed him. Over and over. Then he turned his attention to me. And he paid the price. "Lily! Stephanie is going into labor!" Kelson shouted at me from downstairs. I rushed down. Dawson and his wife Stephanie were expecting twin pups. A high risk birth and I needed to be there for my friend. After several hours, the birth was over and our pack welcomed two new precious members. As I exited the pack house to get some air, I felt the electric pull. I knew that he was watching me. I put up both middle fingers in the direction I thought he might be. "I want NOTHING to do with you!" I shouted towards the trees. You'd think the guy would take a hint. I walked to the mailbox to get my mail. Inside were various letters. Some from allied packs, One from Dex's mother, and one with just my name scrawled across the front. No address, no return address. That meant it was hand delivered. I quickly tear the top open and My hands immediately begin to shake. It read 'You deserve everything that's coming to you, B*tch. You and your pathetic pack will pay for what you've done.' I call a emergency meeting and all of our pack, excluding Stephanie and Dawson, attends. I inform them of the letter and that there is no detectable scent. We assign more security and three daily perimeter runs. I wonder who could've sent this. No, it couldn't possibly be my own mate. Sh*t, I've just admitted to myself that the b*stard is my mate. I need to confront him. I need to remind him of what happens when you threaten a Luna.
