Chapter 8 I massaged the crease that had set up permanent residence between my brows. My head had hurt since lunch, probably from being awake since before dawn, and despite the three ibuprofen I’d sneaked from my bag, it lingered. Though the last bell of the day had rung about ten minutes ago, I knew I still had to make it through Ms. Jordan’s study session.
