I was discharged from the hospital first thing in the morning. Getting Jacob to leave my side and go back to Louis’ house to get some rest was a hassle. His paranoia was justified because of the things that had transpired recently, but we couldn't keep on living this way. After much persuasion, I convinced him to go home while he had Louis or Oceane watch me. It was the only compromise I could think of despite I didn't trust the odd couple. Louis served as good company though. We talked a bit and when there was nothing else to talk about, he glued his eyes to his phone screen and he left me to ponder on my thoughts.
