“Felicia, leave now,” Jacob said abruptly. The petite woman rushed out but not without flashing me a broad smile and giving me a thumbs up. The gesture made me giggle. I waved to her bye. “I’m sorry for the delay. It won't happen again, Jacob.” I apologized, understanding that Felicia wasted time getting ready.
