Clearing my throat, I looked up at my husband. His jaw was tight and all traces of playfulness he had just a few moments ago had gone like they were never there. Sighing, I realized that it was game time and there was no running away from any of this. “I guess we'll have to talk about this today then,” I said. He nodded. “Not here though. Let's go to our room.” “Okay.” Not having anything to lose, I let Jacob lead me to our room. I was ready to receive answers and it was clear that this couldn't be held off any longer.
