10 Bob stole a glance at Debbie as they drove. She was already looking at him, and she didn’t seem embarrassed at having been caught doing so. Instead, she held his gaze for an extra beat, then casually turned to look out her window. He turned his own gaze back to the road in front of them, not sure what to make of all this.
