Hello Autumn

Chapter 4: Moon Cove Pack Welcoming Committee

Autumn:

My cabin is cozy...and by cozy I mean small when you walk in you see the small living area lined with book shelves, a cobble stone fireplace two hand made rocking chairs and a small tattered love seat. To the left of the living room is my small kitchen just big enough for a small handmade dining table cluttered with lines of herbs hung to dry and a bowl of fresh fruit from the trees my father planted near the house sitting on the table. then a short hall leads to two bedrooms and a coat closet I keep my hunting gear in a bow and my hunting knife and boots as well as a well fitted jacket my mother left behind. Now thanks to today's turn of events four other people that don't belong here are making my tiny cabin feel very crowded and slightly overwhelming.

Hunter:

With three extra people inside I am starting to realize just how small this cabin really is...Suddenly my gamma Lilyana speaks up " do you have a bathroom I can use? I will only be a minute" and to my surprise Autumn replies the bathroom is just outside its the small shed looking thing." Lilyana thanked her and excused herself. I turn to look at Autumn and decide to ask " I realize we just met but I really prefer not to part right after we just met would you consider coming back to my pack with us and maybe test the waters so to speak and see if it's a place you may want to live?" I don't understand how she has survived out here alone not even visiting shady cove the near by town for provisions..

Autumn:

I'm a little torn I want to go it might be nice to be around others, but I haven't nor do I want to leave my parents behind " Can I think about It I haven't left my home in two years almost three my parents graves are here I am a little apprehensive"

Lilyana:

I walked back in on the tail end of the conversation "look dear I cannot in good conscience leave you here with no running water or electricity Please come back with us I need a girlfriend anyways." Autumn rolls her eyes at my comment and replies "Fine I guess it won't hurt to check it out, but we are taking the short cut out I have enough climbing gear for all five of us we can leave first thing in the morning." did she just say short cut and climbing gear in the same sentence we are definitely going to be best friends!

Hunter:

Thank the moongodess Autumn agreed to come back with us! I can't wait to get her home to meet my parents they are going to love every adventuress stubborn part about her I cannot Believe the moongodess blessed me with this kick ass girl as my mate.

Autumn:

We all went to sleep early to get an early start in the morning. I am already an early riser so I woke before anyone else did and packed my hikingpack and got all the climbing gear out and checked it for any flaws when the one Hunter called Rider came out and asked to use the bathroom and offered to help with the preparations. He clearly doesn't talk much everything came out of his mouth in a grumble. When got back in the house everyone was ready to go and I explained to them "OK Our climbing gear is ready I checked all the ropes and harnesses for flaws to insure a safe trip down the cliff it's about a half a mile down and at the foot of the cliff we unstrap and walk about two and half miles into the parking lot to the trail head I'm assuming you guys have vehicles and parked there...?" To which they all nodded and we headed out we got to the cliff fairly quick it is only a half a mile from my cabin. Every one put on the climbing gear and we all started repelling down when about half way down Lilyanas rope started to break and without a second thought I reached out and caught her with levitation. I brought her to the clif face and held her until the one I learned is Levi got to her and hooked her to him. I released the levitation and sunk against the cliff side feeling worn out and slightly dizzy I really haven't used my powers or been in touch with my wolf since my parents died and that took alot out of me to save her. I don't understand what happened did she snag her rope? Was it to old and weak to hold her weight? we finished repelling down and unhooked ourselves and Rider Lilyanas twin was over checking on his sister when she turned to me with wide eyed and asked " That's not a wolf traight how did you do that?" I answered her " I am only half wolf the other half is witch" now all their eyes are on me except Hunters who already knew. " I haven't been in touch with my wolf nor have I used my powers since well since a while and just that little bit took alot of energy so perhaps we should keep moving" I led the rest of the way to the parking lot even with me lagging a bit it didn't take long Hunter handed me a helmet and told me I could ride with him he has an orange and black Ducati so I started to climb on the back with him. Before we left I asked if anyone wanted Phil's frosty again they stared at me " how long has it been since you've gone through shady cove that place has been closed a while" this made me slightly sad I used to go there with my mom and dad for their biscuits and gravy breakfast before we headed to rays for groceries.

Hunter:

Autumn looking slightly disappointed puts her helmet on and we head to the pack. when we finally arrive my parents are home early from their vacation waiting outside The main pack house for me and their jaws hit the ground when they notice the female riding with me. I pull to a stop and put my hand out to Autumn to help her off my bike and my parents rush to us to undoubtedly flood us with questions but I hold my had up " mom dad let me get her fed and settled before you scare her off" I say "son I just have to say only you could get lost in the woods and meet a beautiful girl. Go get her settled your mother and I will meet you in the kitchen." my father replies.
