Why do you think I told you to become friends with her?” “I did find out about the password, but she changed it and this time, I have no idea.” Alpha Noah glared at his Beta and returned his gaze to his unconscious wife. One he drugged and brought to an abandoned building far from the pack house to end her life. After Aurelia, his wife, caught him having an affair with his Beta, Rosalie, she confronted him and Alpha Noah made it known to her he never loved her and only needed the Alpha throne given to her by her late father. Heartbroken and angry, Aurelia decided to fight back and claim what rightfully belonged to her, but Alpha Noah and his lover, Rosalie, decided to kill her before she took the throne from them. “We have no time left, The elder council is in ten minutes.” Alpha Noah replied as he dug his hand into his suit trouser and brought out a syringe. It is enough to end her life in seconds.” He replied and grabbed his unconscious wife’s wrist, ready to inject the poison into her vein. However, his plans went wrong when she peeled her eyes open. Aurelia took in her surroundings and her eyes went wide. “What are you doing, Noah?” She asked, glaring daggers at her cheating husband and his lover. When she caught Rosalie riding the c**k of her husband, Aurelia felt betrayed and heartbroken. She spent days locked up in her room, and when she made up her mind to ask for an explanation with the thought of forgiving him if he begged for forgiveness, to her surprise he told her she was never the one he loved. Rosalie, out of anger and hatred, stepped closer and slapped Aurelia across the face. “Tell us the password and we might consider letting you live.” Aurelia wanted to live so badly, her survival instinct reeked of desperation. She didn’t want to die at the hands of her husband and his secret lover. “Will you let me live if I tell you the password?” The question was directed at her husband, and since he couldn’t wait to get the password from her, he nodded in agreement. “Yes.” Aurelia took in her lower lips, obviously reluctant, but when she opened her mouth to speak, the digits numbers fell out. “2004500.” “Are you sure?” Alpha Noah asked and she nodded slowly. “Well thank you, dear wife for making my plans effortlessly easy, but you have to die to make it a complete deal.” Aurelia’s eyes went wide, but before she could say a word, Rosalie grabbed her wrist and Alpha Noah injected the poison into her vein. PAIN! PAIN! PAIN! Pain coursed through her veins, working its way to every part of her body until she went limp and unable to move her body. The pain was unbearable, snatching her next breath and leaving her to gasp for air. A cruel smile curved on Alpha Noah’s lips upon seeing her in pain. “Do not resent me too much, dear wife. You were merely a part of my plan.” With that being said, he turned towards Rosalie, pushed her to the wall and captured her lips in his. After sharing an intimate kiss, the couple left, leaving her to die, without so much as a remorse. Aurelia watched with tears cascading down the corners of her eyes. She was vulnerable, weak, and the poison was working its way towards her heart. She felt her inside twist, and her body began to swell–an effect from the poison. It must have been a very strong one, capable of ending a person’s life in a matter of minutes. However, just before the poison could work its way towards her heart, a golden bracelet, one given to Aurelia by her father suddenly glowed brightly, almost blinding and the poison which was working in every part of her body immediately ceased and her swollen body became very much normal in a matter of seconds! Aurelia no longer felt pain or discomfort and could move her body, unlike a few minutes back. That was when she realized something. SHE HAD BEEN GIVEN A SECOND CHANCE AT LIFE! A second chance to take back what was rightfully hers, and make her husband, his lover, and all the pack members who turned their back on her pay!
