Six o’clock found Cassandra dressed in her black jeans and a soft cashmere sweater with crossover ties that wrapped around her waist. She’d given in to vanity and was brushing mascara on when a knock sounded at the front door. Artemis also came out, she was wearing her favourite jeans and red jumper and had made sure that her hair was covered under cap. “You look good, darling,” said Cassandra as she went ahead to open the door.
