Expedition
In hindsight, the planning for our deep underground exploration seemed to get shoved further back every day as other events and priorities constantly got more immediate attention. When winter winds began to blow and we were no closer to knowing what the cavern under our property was created for we were unprepared and unfocused. What finally triggered was Jan’s news from the city that the media was reporting the recent unexplained disappearance of several women. The police played down the story and when one reporter finally released what she knew, she too suddenly disappeared.
