The week has been crazy!
Everyone's asking me if I like this or that. Like I care! The pack is overspending for a celebration and I'm not happy about it.
"Where's Kob?" I asked Samantha.
"On patrol", She said.
A pack maid came to me holding two vases.
"Which one would you like luna?"
"For what?" I asked.
"This will be in every table for the flower decorations luna", She replied.
"How much is this?" I asked pointing to the vase on the right.
"150 dollars luna"
Woah! 150??? On every table? Really?
"And the other one?"
"145 dollars luna" She replied.
"I don't want any of the two. In fact I have something to say", I told her.
'Pack meeting outside the house now' I ordered through mind link.
I went outside and waited for everyone.
"Everyone's here", Samantha said.
Woah. They are tall. Or maybe I'm just short? Nahhh, they're giants.
"Sit please", I said.
They did as they were told and sat on the grass.
"I know the luna celebration is important, however"
"What is going on?" Kob cut me.
"Oh goodie! You're here!! You can listen too. Sit, sit!" I exclaimed.
Kob and some other guards sat down in front.
" So as I was saying, the luna celebration is important, HOWEVER, we don't need to spend a lot of money for it", I said.
Everybody looked shocked.
"So I want every item more than 50 dollars returned and replaced with items 50 dollars or less", I continued.
"But we can't look fancy if all the items are cheap!" A girl said.
"Listen, just because the pack is rich, doesn't mean we can spend it on celebrations." I told her.
"Then what do we use it for?!" The girl beside her said.
"For expansions, deals, and charities" I replied.
"Why give it to someone else when we can have fun and use it?!", the first girl asked.
"I'm not saying we can't use it for fun, but someone out there doesn't have money for food or clothes." I said.
"Same old cuddle bear huh?" A voice said.
I looked to the source and saw Nate.
" CUDDLE POOH!!!" I squealed running to his open arms.
I heard a growl, and I was ripped apart from Nate.
"MINE" Kob said.
Nate raised his hands up in surrender.
"Relax. I have a boyfriend", Nate said.
"AHHHH CONGRATULATIONS!! Who is it? Do I know him?" I asked.
"Yeah, you do. I'll tell you later" He said looking over the pack. Whoops I forgot.
"Sorry about that", I smiled cheekily.
"So anymore questions?"
A boy raised his hand. I nodded my head to tell him to go on.
"Will other packs be there?"
"Yes, there will be four packs including us", Kob answered.
"Will we fit?" I asked.
"The celebration will be on an part of our territory where were cleared the trees and it's a big space", He said.
I nodded.
"Dismissed", Kob said.
Nate, Kob and I went to the office.
"So? So? So? Will you tell me who it is? Who? Who? Who?" I said acting like a kid.
"You might want to sit down for this." He said nervously.
I sat down.
"Promise me you won't hate me"
"Promise?" I said hesitantly.
"Okay. He is actually my second chance mate", He started.
"Oohhh!!" I giggled.
"He is well....yew'e brother", He said.
I froze in shock.
I've always thought Nate's second chance mate will be a girl.
Woah wait. My brother is gay.
"Cuddle bear?" Nate asked.
"Woah", I said. "I did not see that one coming"
Kob looked as shocked as I am.
"My brother of all people" I muttered.
"I know he bullied you and all but, he's my mate. And I can not choose between my cuddle bear and her brother, which happens to be my mate", He said.
"So...does the pack know?"
"Yup"
"Are they okay with it?" Kob asked.
Nate smiled and nodded. After Nate dropped the bomb on us, he left.
"That was....unexpected" Kob trailed of.
" Tell me about it", I said playfully.
The week passed uneventfully. It is safe to say that only the news was important during that week. Today is Saturday. Today is the day. The day the luna celebration happens. Oh. god. What if they don't like me?
"They love you already", Kob said, hugging me from behind. He kissed my mark and I moaned.
"Let's go!" Xavier shouted.
"Fine" Kob muttered.
He held my hand, our fingers intertwined, and made our way out. We arrived shortly after. I saw a lot of people. Possibly thousands! Nate came to me.
"Luna huh?" He smirked giving me a hug.
Kob growled. "Chill... I have my mate remember?" Nate asked rhetorically.
"Whatever" Kob muttered.
"Let's go", Kob said, pulling me gently to the stage.
"I am proud to present to you, my mate, my equal, your luna!" He said through the microphone.
Cheers erupted. Kob gave me the microphone, encouraging me to speak.
"Um..well... Thank you for being here today... No promises but I will do my best" I ended lamely.
Cheers followed and we went down the stage. Within seconds, the real party started. DJ, drinks, grinding, sweaty bodies. You get the gist. We sat next to Xavier, Samantha and Lucas. Xavier was completely drunk.
"You know you should try cuffing your mate to the bed when you're mating", He slurred.
"It was fun", He continued. Samantha blushed furiously and I giggled.
"Xavi, only you and Samantha will like that kind of mating", Kob joked.
Samantha blushed harder and Xavi chuckled.
"So what you and Aisha play good cop bad cop? Or how about nurse and patient? Or maybe" he trailed of. I blushed.
"Maybe I like the way she screams my name, and we keep it normal", Kob cut in. I blushed harder. Samantha and Dez, Lucas' mate, giggled.
"She's quite the screamer ain't she? Samantha was never that loud", Xavier slurred.
I hid behind Kob's muscular arms. I heard giggles and chuckles. I don't know how long we stayed there, but after a few hours we left and slept. We were exhausted to say the least.
