Fish Sticks

NATE

Last night I blocked my mind link to get a break from all the f*****g stupid questions. Questions like 'Why'd you do it?' or 'I thought you were gay?' An hour or two after they left me I went to Aisha's room to find out that she wasn't there. I waited the whole f*****g night, no Aisha! I decided to go down and drink some coffee. When I said I stayed all night, I mean all night. I was about to go to her room when I heard the door slam and lock. I rushed up the stairs and into her room. I leaned my ears to the door and I heard the shower open. I'll come back later and give her some privacy. After a while, I went to her room and it was still locked.

"Aisha?!" I asked, knocking at the door.

"Aish? Where were you? Open the damn door Aish!" I exclaimed.

I heard shuffling noises. What is she doing? Suddenly the smell of blood hit me.

"I'll break the f*****g door of you, don't open this in three seconds", I yelled.

I broke down the door and proceeded to break down the bathroom door. The smell of blood got stronger. I kicked it down and Aisha was there in the corner blood pooling around her. She was holding the razor. s**t!

"JAKOB!" I yelled running to the door, so he can hear me.

I yelled his name twice more before going back to the bathroom still shouting his name. Jakob came a few seconds later, and he immediately rushed over Aisha.

"f**k" He cursed as Aisha fell limp on his arms.

"SAMANTHA" Jakob yelled.

Who's Samantha? Within seconds, a panicked girl came.

"Oh god" She said looking over Aisha.

They quickly went down and I followed them. We got into a van and drove off with Xavier

"What the hell happened?" Jakob asked.

"She wasn't in her room last night. She came back in the morning, I wanted to confront her, but the doors were locked", I said.

"She wasn't with me last night!" He exclaimed.

"What?! Then who was she with?"

"Kyle" He muttered.

"This is probably revenge for what I did to him. That b***h!" I exclaimed.

We arrived in the hospital and the girl along with some nurses quickly took Aisha away. It was only when they were taking her away that I noticed. She was only wearing Kyle's shirt with nothing underneath. She also had a lot of bruises.

"f**k" I cursed.

"What?" Jakob questioned.

"Didn't you see? She had nothing underneath Kyle's shirt", I emphasized Kyle's name.

He growled.

That b***h got his way again with my mate. My wolf wanted nothing more than his blood. I can't do that, however, because my pack needs this alliance.

"I should've challenged that b***h before any of this happened", Nate muttered.

He was planning on challenging Kyle?

"WE'RE LOSING HER!" A nurse shouted and more nurses came in.

We waited for hours. Like before, Xavi would bring us food or coffee. Samantha came out looking defeated. I quickly stood up urging her to say the condition of my mate.

"She's fine." She said weakly. She must've been tired. Xavi came to her and picked her up her bridal style.

"Thanks", I said. She nodded and Xavi carried her away.

I entered the room and saw my sleeping angel. Only then did I realize she has a lot of hickeys and a love bite on the place that I will mark her. My wolf growled in anger. Her wrist was now bandaged but also her abdomen.

'Mate hurt! Kill Kyle!' my wolf growled in my head.

"Hey fish sticks! Guess what? I decided I should challenge Kyle!" Nate said talking to her like she was listening.

"Fish sticks?" I asked, amused by his choice of nick name.

"Yeah. She loves fish sticks when wen were younger"

That gives me an idea for date.

5"What else does she like and not like?" I asked gathering information for our date.

"She likes lemonade, apples, red velvet cake and fries. But she does not like steaks, ribs and anything fancy", He said.

I should hate him that he knows more about my mate than me. However, I need this.

"So anything simple?"

He nodded. Interesting.

" Aisha hates fancy things. She thinks it's a waste of money. She's simple-minded too. You can say something really simple and she won't stop smiling for a week!" He said.

I smiled and nodded. She would make a great luna. Simple, Stubborn, and Kind. I saw her brown eyes and realized that she's awake.

" Why are you talking about me?"

"Cause you're so beautiful", I said honestly.

She smiled and blushed. She tried to hide her blush, but I held her cheeks in my hands and mase her look at me.

"I like it when you blush"

She blushed harder, I chuckled and Nate cleared his throat.

" FISH STICKS!" He scolded.

She sank down on her bed and I growled.

"Why?" He asked.

She just shrugged.

"We talked about this", He said.

"You guys weren't there. I was mind linking you guys for help, but no one was there" She sobbed.

I felt my heart shatter into a million pieces. She needed me and I wasn't there. However, my pack comes first. My wolf was growling at that thought.

FLASHBACK (LAST NIGHT)

Lucas called and told me that there were problems within the pack.

"The new pack members started a fight. Apparently, the new ones were hitting on someone's mate. The mate got angry and fought"

I sighed. I thought about my options. I can let them go with a warning, which will not settle for the mate. The mute will surely want to get the members punished.

I sighed again. "1 week in the cells. They need to learn their boundaries"

"Noted. Now there's a pack asking for assistance with training"

I sighed again. "Who? When? Where?"

"The alpha of the Lunar Pack asked us to train them in their territory. As for when, he said whenever we're available." He replied.

For the millionth time today, I sighed.

"Tell him I'll think about it. There has been complications here", I told him.

"Okay", Then I hung up.

I would check on Aisha but I've been so tired. I'll just take a nap and check on her later. I fell face first in the couch and welcomed my sleep.

FLASHBACK END

If I checked on Aisha, this wouldn't have happened. I'm such a terrible mate.

"What did he do?" Nate asked slowly.

" He asked me to clean his wounds then when I was about to leave, he r-ripped my clothes and s-spank me hard” She stuttered.

I growled. Just the thought of it makes me angry. Nate looked at me as if telling me to control it.

"T-then he...he raped me. When I- I was about to l-leave, he showed me." She sobbed.

"What did he show you?" I asked carefully.

"The v-video...of the f-first t-time" She sobbed harder.

"So he said he would spread it if I didn't do what he wanted. So I slept beside him." She said, her voice cracking.

"I'm so sorry a baby", I said. I wanted to hug her, but she moved away.

"I-it's okay", She stuttered.

I'm back to square one! f**k!

"Why do you have bruises?" Nate asked.

"He beat me before he ripped my clothes", She said.

She reached forward and hugged Nate. Nate immediately wrapped his hands around her. She won't hug me, but was willing to hug him? My wolf growled in jealousy. Nate looked at me as if reprimanding me from attacking or growling. He cupped Aisha's cheeks and kissed her forehead.

"I have something to tell you", He said, smiling.

"Don't hate me, but I'm not gay"

What?! I let someone who could possibly has an interest in my mate cuddle with her?!

"I know" She whispered.

"How?"

"I know you loved your guy mate, but before all you talk about was how hot the girls look like. So technically you're bisexual", she said.

This just made me angrier. She knew? Betrayal suddenly engulfed me.

"Do you reject me?" I asked bluntly.
