" Grim Reaper" he said when he saw who called him

" I'm sure you're aware of the recent happenings"

" Can't you see where I work ?. No information passes us by "

" I'm concerned because whoever is killing these people is adding to my workload. I still haven't documented the last souls I guided to the afterlife" The Grim Reaper asked

" Ah " Martin said " How could I forget? Grim reapers are always selfish, you probably care about nothing but yourself, you don't care about how many people died, rather you're worried about how much work you'll do in documenting and assisting" He shot at him . In an instant, the Grim Reaper was standing in front of him, at a dangerously close distance.

" Isn't it in your nature to be deceptive, you snake?"

" I'm not that anymore, I became human six years ago. Something you've been trying so hard but has been able to achieve "

" Luths would always be Luths, the dangerous breeds of snakes that have the power of gods. You don't tell me there's no venom in your veins will you??" The Grim Reaper questioned with one eye open.

" What do you want?? "

" Did you loose all your powers?" He asked

" I did. What's it to you??"

" You'll need my help in the long run. Let's work hand in hand." The Grim Reaper stretches his hands. Martin stared at his hands and then at his smirking face

" This is like telling me to sign with the Devil "

" I also need to apprehend who caused all these . I made a promise"

" I'm working with you in one condition, do not interrupt my work, do not come to my office without permission "

" That's more than one" the Grim Reaper said jokingly

" Not the time for jokes" he hissed and took his outstretched hands. " It's a deal"

In a dimly lit room, a man with a lion tattooed on his arm sat on a chair. He was pissed with what the man opposite him was saying.

" Are you nuts? I never asked you to kill all those people, I asked you to kill just one, look at the scene you caused...." The man could not complete his sentence because he was suspended in the air , choking.

" Mr. LaRocca, you seem to be forgetting that I'm in charge, you worthless human should know your place. The next time you try to educate me on what to do, I'll take your neck for it" he said and released the man who was suspended in the air, the man fell to the ground with a loud thud.

" My back" the man cried
