79 Bradamante warmed her icy fingers over the fire. Astolpho had brought a flint stone and striking iron with him. She nearly embraced him again just for that. While he tended to Michaela, wrapping her in blankets, trying to keep her comfortable and warm, Bradamante had gathered wood from the forest floor and set about building the fire.
