CLAYTON GOMEZ
I looked in Ivory's direction, but my eyebrows met with confusion when I noticed her reaction.
Ivory is clinching her fist so tight that I am confused even just seeing her expression right now. She is looking in another direction, and her face is serious.
Ivory didn't reply to me, but her silence makes me understand her action and that there is really something going on right now with her.
I could not help but be curious again and again while staring in Ivory's direction.
"What? Is there something to the information that I've said? Are you my long-lost blood relative or something?" I asked while making a slight smile.
Ivory didn't say anything in reply again, but this time she is looking in my direction. She is taking a deep breath, like she is trying to calm herself.
"You are the son of the pack leader? What do you mean? How many years?"
My eyebrows met with confusion because of her words. I don't know why she's acting like this all of a sudden.
Why does she appear to be angry, terrified, and hurt?
I still nodded in response to her question, even if I was still confused by her action.
"Get out."
I scratched my head when I heard her words. There she goes again. What's her problem this time?
"What now? I thought you were going to tell me something about yourself."
Ivory glared in my direction for too long. She's acting like she's going to hit me again, but she's not moving right now and is just staring in my direction.
"Get out," she repeated.
"Why did you change your mind again? Did I do something wrong this time?" I asked.
I met Ivory's gaze, but this time, she looks like she's about to cry any moment from now. My chest tightened after seeing her expression without knowing the reason.
"You... just like what I thought from the beginning. You will cause the pain and suffering in my life. You need to get out now before I try to kill you for real."
I could not help but clench my fist after hearing her words. I really don't understand what is happening right now or why she is acting like this all of a sudden.
"What? Before I follow your command, could you tell me first why you're doing this all of a sudden? What's wrong with my family? Do you really think you did something terrible to our pack? That's why you're here in the human world and hiding the fact that you're a lycan?"
I took a deep breath. I also tried to calm myself before bursting into anger at her. Well, I'm not really mad. I'm just really confused by her words right now.
"You. . . You don't need to know my reason. You don't have to know who I am anything about me. One thing that I am certain. Our path must never met again. You should not showed up in front of me because your clan is the reason why I. . ."
I took a step back when I suddenly saw Ivory's eyes turn white. I immediately scratched my eyes in order to know if I was just seeing things or not, but after looking at her eyes again, it was just the same normal thing.
I shrugged my shoulders because maybe I'm just really seeing things.
"Wait. I told you that I needed you because of what happened earlier. Could you reconsider and change your mind now?"
Ivory gets up and opens the door of the room where we're staying right now. After that, she looked in my direction again and gave me a deadly and serious glare, while I met her glare with a confused look on my face.
"Get out now."
"Huh? But I'm still not feeling better. Please reconsid—"
"No. I let you stay here despite the fact that I should kill you. Don't you understand? Get out now that I'm still being nice to you."
I took a deep breath. What should I do to stay here any longer? I need to stay here because of my illness, and I will not force myself to stay here if not because of that.
What should I do to change her mind? And why is she acting like she really hates my clan? I know she has a reason to hate my clan, but she doesn't have a reason to hate me either since I didn't do anything wrong to her and we're just me. I wouldn't even know her if we hadn't met.
I get up and stretch my arms in order to revive the strength that I've lost before walking in Ivory's direction. She is still looking at me, but this time she didn't say anything.
When I walk beside her, I intentionally let myself lose consciousness. I pinch my pulse really hard this time in order to let my consciousness subsided.
I slowly lost my sense of sight as I tried to stare in Ivory's direction. I saw her looking at me worriedly while trying to catch her body from falling to the ground. I saw her eyes looking at me, and I don't know if I really saw her tears falling from her cheeks.
When I open my eyes again, I am already lying on the bed. Ivory is sitting beside me and looking in my direction quietly while crossing her arms.
When she saw my eyes open, her expression changed all of a sudden and she immediately looked in another direction.
"Do you still want me to get out of your house?" I asked her.
Ivory took a deep breath before answering my question. She stood up and sat on the bed where I am lying right now. She shrugged her head and looked in my direction again, annoyance written all over her face.
"Fine. You could stay here, but I have a condition for you."
I could not help but smile when I heard her words. Finally. My plan didn't go to waste.
"What is it?"
"You need to stay with me all the time, and whenever you're talking to other beings, you have to tell me about it. Do you understand?" She crossed her arms again while looking at me with a serious look on her face.
