"Ivory, could you tell me now why you are hiding here in the human world? Did you do something to our world?"

Ivory looked in my direction and suddenly gave a deep sigh. Tsk. Why? Am I bothering her too much? Of course I'm not. I'm just asking her right now, and there is nothing wrong with that.

"Do you think I will tell someone like you my reasons? Just keep your mouth shut and focus on eating."

Yeah, but I'm really curious about your reason. Want me to flirt with you again just so you can give me a reason?" I asked while smirking.

I was just kidding, but if Ivory really wants it, then I will do it even if I receive another punch from her again. That's my key to invade her again.

I almost laughed because of the idea in my mind.

"Shut up. Just eat, or I will throw this plate at you."

I could not help but giggle because of Ivory's reaction. She's acting like she's not affected by my words even a little, but I could see her cheeks turn rosy red because of her reaction to mine.

I don't know why, but Ivory's reaction could make me smile. This is the first time that I've felt this way towards all the female lycans that I've mated before. Much more, whenever I'm looking at Ivory, her face makes me think of something that I don't remember. Her face and action are so familiar, but I don't understand why, whenever I'm thinking deeply about them, nothing appears in my mind. Then, I just shrugged my shoulders and left it as it was.

"Fine. Just a hint and not your whole reason. After all, I also noticed that you are hiding your own pheromones from all beings, right?"

I saw Ivory stunned because of what I've said. She did not look in my direction but just looked out the small window in the kitchen. Anyway, we are currently eating our breakfast, and believe me, we are really eating human foods right now. Well, we are not like the vampires who only want the taste of blood, like my friend Nico.

After a few minutes, I heard a deep sigh from Ivory. She looked in my direction again, and this time, her expression changed.

"You don't have to know anything about me. That's my only condition for you to stay here any longer."

My eyebrows met with confusion when I heard Ivory's words. I don't understand why she is trying so hard not to answer all of my questions about her. Even a hint about her is still blurry in my mind.

I don't think that she's a fugitive criminal that's hiding right now, and I don't think that she did terrible things to our pack before.

Damn! As time went by, I became more and more curious about her. Although I'm not really emotionally attracted to her, Even if there are a lot of things that have happened to us already, it is not right for my personality to fall in love anyway.

I was born to enjoy life and not to hurt myself by living and stressing myself out.

Anyway, while I'm here and also to kill my time while I am doing my self-healing with Ivory, I will try to find out about Ivory's secret little by little.

Now that I've mentioned it. Sometimes, there is also a bizarre moment when I am deeply looking in Ivory's direction, and now I finally figure out what it is.

When I'm looking in Ivory's direction, I cannot see anything in my ability about her lycan form. That's why I mistook her for a human being at first. She literally looks like a human being and has mastered herself to hide her complete existence as a lycan.

"What are you thinking now?"

I suddenly stopped thinking when I heard Ivory's voice while she was looking in my direction with annoyance written all over her face.

I smiled back at Ivory before answering her question to tease her. I found it funny when I saw her angry face looking into my eyes. If looks could kill, she's already killed me a hundred times.

"Oh. Are you jealous that I'm thinking about someone else, babe?" I slightly touched her left hand that was comfortably lying on the table while her other hand was holding a fork.

Ivory immediately removed her hand, and right now, she's glaring at me like she's ready to kill me at any moment.

"Don't be like that. You know that I'm hurting whenever you're acting uncomfortable, right?" I even make myself look sad in order to tease her more, but deep inside, I want to laugh any minute now.

"You're not afraid of me, aren't you?"

I just shrugged my shoulders in response to her question.

"I'm afraid that you still don't trust me enough to tell me something about yourself, Ivory."

I heard a deep sigh from Ivory after hearing my words. She even patted her head while glaring in my direction.

"Fine. Tell me something about yourself first."

I grinned when I heard Ivory. Really? She's really going to say something about herself? So fast, but completely fine with me.

Anyway, I need to follow her condition first in order to get some information about her. I almost laugh because I feel like I am some sort of spy right now because of the curiosity that I'm feeling while keeping my patience to hear her words about herself later.

"Fine. If that's what you want," I replied.

I looked around for a minute before focusing my attention in her direction only.

"I am the son of our pack leader. I mean, I could be the next leader someday."

I am so proud to announce it to Ivory in order to leave a big impression in her mind. I knew she was going to change her mind about treating me like this after hearing those, but to my surprise, I saw her shocking face while still looking into my eyes. She looks like she saw something terrible while looking at me, which makes me really confused right now.
