Unwanted Fate

Chapter Three

We all three walked out of the bathroom and I jerked my hand out of the girls grasp. She turned her head towards me still holding a sweet smile on her face. "Luna Mandy. If you do not come with me, my brother Quentin will be furious. He saw your boyfriends arms around you waist and lets just day he was not happy."

"Boyfriend? I-I'm not her boyfriend. I'm her best friend and beta." Hayden said with a laugh putting his arm around my shoulder. "We've been through everything together."

"I'm sorry but my brother was not informed of that. He's also not happy because he thinks your Best friend is the father of your daughter." she said looking between our quiet bodies. "He's not is he?"

'Don't say anything else.' I mind linked Hayden.

I looked at the girl with a small smile and her eyes widened. she shook her head and grabbed my arm pulling me to her. "He's not gonna be happy about this."

"I don't care. I don't need your help finding him since I can..you know feel the pull." I smiled at her. 

All that grief. All that pain and torture I have gone through that I learned to suppress for the sake of my daughter. All I wear are long sleeves and pants do to the scars I gained from cutting myself. Raven never approved of me harming myself so she sunk back into my mind. she hasn't talked to me for a year.

'Raven. You still there?' I ask trying not to remember how broken I was.

'I am. I always was I just needed a break from the pain.' She responded sounding sad.

'I'm so sorry. I never meant to hurt you. I don't want to hurt you know and I can't lose mom dad and Thea so I'm rejecting Quentin. For our safety.' I could hear the pain in my voice but I knew we had a reason and 'it has to be done'

'I know. I going to stick by you on this one.' 

'I really missed you Raven.'

'I missed you to, love'

I followed the pull towards an office and pushed open the door. There standing was my mate and what seemed to be his friends "You wanted to see me?" I said with spite in my tone. There is no denying that he was handsome but all mates think that.

"Mandy," he said with a smile walking towards me. I held out a hand and told him to stay where he was.

"As you may know, My brother Seth is dead. After his death I had no desire in meeting my mate or anyone to spend my life with so here's this." I say putting my hands behind my back. "Quentin Lance,Alpha Heir of the Blue Moon Pack, I, Mandy Ryan, Alpha Heir of the Wild Flower Pack, Rejec-" 

Suddenly I was pushed against the wall with a large hand over my mouth. Sparks ran through my body making me shiver and my knees go weak. I gained control of my body again and I let out a growl and tore out of his clutch.

"Please. Please don't reject me Mandy. I'm not like that. I'm not like the person who murdered your brothe-"

"Do not speak of my brother." I yelled with a menacing growl. His friends got between us and I saw Hayden and that same girl heading towards us. Hayden ran to my side quickly and inspected to see if I was hurt. "Mind link all Wild Flowers. Tell them were going home for the day."

"Alpha. May I talk with you...In private." The Girl said 

"Now is not the time, Rosy." he said with jealousy.

"Quentin, get you ass out here. Now!" she said walking into a room attached to this one. I used my advanced hearing to listen in on what they were saying.

"The rumor I told you about...About Mandy having a daughter was true." She gulped "And the man the she walked into school with and is now helping her in that room...He's the father."

Hayden snapped me out of my thoughts telling me that the pack is heading out the door now. 'I'm about to do something stupid' I told Hayden through mind link. I knew that after what Rosy told Quentin, he wouldn't be happy so I thought of a plan to keep Quentin away. Granted it might get someone hurt but...I don't care. "Good. Were leaving. I wanna see our daughter."

I quickly pulled Hayden out of the school and onto my Bike. I made sure Hayden's arms were tight around me before looking up and seeing a pissed of Quentin heading towards us. I winked at him and ditched the seen, heading home.

"MOMMY!" Thea yelled running into my arms as I walked into my home. I excused the Omega who was watching her and turned my attention toward Thea.

"Hey Pumpkin. How was school." I kissed her forehead and sat down on the couch with her in my lap.

"I HAVE A FRIEND!!" She yelled and laughed loudly. "His name is Ruby and he's really nice. I broke my green crayon and he let me use his."

"Awww. He sounds so sweet." I stood up, still holding her. I started to tickle her until her knees buckled from under her. She laid on the ground and rolled back in forth. I continued to tickle her till I heard a branch snap from the outside. I quickly sniffed and scented a rouge.

I swiftly picked up Thea and ran to my parents room. My mom was in the washroom and walked out. "Mandy? Are you okay, Whats wrong."

"W-Wheres dad." I ask, afraid. I never got scared anymore. Not since my brother died so my mom seeing me scared sent worry course through her body and I felt it.

"He's at his office in a meeting with the Blue Moon's Leading. What is this about, you look scared." 

"No time to explain. Lets go" I grabbed my mom's hand and clutched tighter onto Thea as we ran down the stairs and out of the pack house. Usually the Alpha's office would be in the pack house but my father needed to get away from the noises.

We raced fast into the office that is combined with a meeting room where I assumed my father was. My grip on a now sleeping Thea was tighter as I barged into the meeting room. "Alpha. I was playing with Thea in the living room of the Pack House when I heard and scented a rouge. I mind linked the pack warriors  on the way to inform mom but we came here the inform you and to remain safe."

"Good doing, Mandy. Alpha George if you'll excuse me for a minute. Mandy stay here and accompany our guest." My father raced out of the room with my mother As I closed and locked the doors for procedure.

"So what they say is true." Alpha George Lance said eyeing me and Thea. "The Alpha to be truly does have a daughter, and her name? Thea, is it?" 

"Yes Alpha. She has made me very happy this past year." I smiled kissing her forehead and brushing her hair out of her eyes.

"How Old?" he chuckled lightly.

"I'm sorry?" I was confused. Why is he so interested and excepting about this. 

"How old is she?" This time his laugh was Louder which woke up my sleeping beauty.

"Mommy? Wheres Grandma and Papa?" she rubbed her eyes and yawned.

"There okay, Pumpkin. Go back to sleep I'll wake you when we are back home." She nodded her head and laid her head on my shoulder again. She quickly fell back to sleep and I continued my conversation. "She is three."

His eyes widened and his mouth formed the shape of an 'o' then he smiled down at the floor. "You 17, Correct?" I nodded my head and he continued. "14 seems to be a young age to be getting pregnant. Do you know the father?" I chuckled.

I covered Thea's ears so she didn't hear me even though she was asleep. "She's not my blood daughter. And yes I know the Father and Mother. I took her in last year because they were no longer able to care for her."

"If you don't mind me asking, What happened to them?" He seemed really interested in Thea. It was kind of nerve wrecking. I shifted uncomfortably in my seat and answered.

"My brother's mate murdered him last year. I'm sure you know the story, but I banished the Mother, Father and the sister and I killed my brothers mate in front of my pack. Our pack has never been the same since. But I gave the family a phone and told them to return when she is 16. If Thea wants to meet her blood family I will let her. but if not then...Well, I guess we will go from there."
