I haven't felt this awake and alert in a long time. I knew, in the back of my mind, that Joseph and the Lycan probably wouldn't be attacking us tonight, but all my senses were running on overdrive. I could retire to my room for the night, but it would be a waste of time. There's no way that I'll be getting any sleep tonight.
I tried my best to stay strong for Shaun, Emma, and Amanda today, but the scene left by Joseph and the Lycan was truly horrific. It made my stomach turn and I felt nauseated. Joseph and the Lycan are two deeply disturbed individuals, monsters. How can you look your own pack, the wolves that called you Alpha for so many years, in the eye and burn them alive? Woman and children? It was revolting. They are sick.
