Shaun's POV. My father looked at Amanda and I with a smug look on his face and an even smugger grinn to go with it. Amanda was crying, stunned by what Emma had just done and how she reacted. I wanted to make up another excuse for Emma's behaviour. I wanted to tell Amanda that Emma was just sad and angry and that she was lashing out at the wrong people. I wanted to believe that Emma was under my fathers' spell and that she didn't know what she was doing. I couldn't. My excuses for Emma had run out. She was getting out of hand.
