Emma's POV.
The last couple of days, with Joseph, have been strangely wonderful.
He has been kind and friendly and attentive, taking care of me and making sure that I smile and laugh.
We have been together almost every day since Amanda and Shaun left.
I haven't heard a single word from either of them, just like they said I wouldn't.
When I thought about it, I really didn't want to either. The hurt me, they lied to me, they went behind my back and they betrayed me. They embarrassed me.
I had a lot that I wanted to say to them. I still wanted some answers and I wanted to hear the truth from them, but I wasn't ready to face either of them just yet.
Joseph was doing a great job, keeping my mind off of them.
