Emma's POV.
Joseph is working late, again. Shaun isn't home. So I'm home alone, lying in bed, watching the news.
There's a report about a bunch of young people that have overdosed and died on some new street drug. I recognize two of the girls as wolves from our pack.
I wonder if Joseph has seen the news? He won't be happy at all, finding out that there's a new drug out there, killing wolves from our pack. He'll want something done about it as soon as possible.
Joseph is a good Alpha, and he really cares about the members of his pack.
It makes me sad that these things happen, not just to wolves from our pack, but to people in general. It really is such a waste, losing young lives like that.
That's one of the reasons why I wanted to be a nurse, so that I could help people in those situ
