Shaun's POV. "Mind if I join you?" I froze with my hand on the door handle. I didn't think that Emma was awake. I went for a run almost every morning, and I knew that Emma liked to run as well, but she had never asked to join me before today. Maybe she didn't want to upset my father, but he isn't home. He never came home last night. Perhaps that's why she seized the oppertunity this morning. I turned to face her. She looked incredibly cute in her tiny running shorts, and matching crop top. My heart, and other parts of my anatomy, ached at the site of her. I wanted to pull her into my arms and kiss her till she begged me to stop. Instead I only smiled at her. "Sure."
