If anything happens to Amanda. If he does something to her.
I leopard crawl out from under the table, towards the open office door.
As I look around the corner of the door, Amanda notices me out of the corner of her eye and uses her hand to gesture to me. She's showing me that I should stay where I am.
I can tell that she is breathing heavily, but on the surface she seems calm. She's a brave girl.
My father is livid, so angry at finding her in his secret office that he doesn't even notice her gesture to me.
"You little b***h!"
My father spits the words at Amanda. She doesn't move, she just stands there, staring at him.
"Joseph. How did you know?"
My father is glaring at her. A lesser wolf would have been whimpering by now,
