Emma's POV.
I walked into the pack house in time to see Jason and Shaun leaving Jason's office. They both looked tired and worried. I had just come out of the clinic. This was my second night shift with Alice. After a long talk, we decided that I would start training as a pack healer and not just a nurse anymore. Alice said that I was a natural and that my talents would be wasted as a nurse. To a certain extent, I agreed with her and I have to admit that I enjoyed the hands-on approach of being a healer a lot more.
Since we made the decision, I have already helped Alice perform surgery to repair a broken arm, deliver a pup, and reattach a torn tendon. It was interesting work, and Alice was incredible. She was a great teacher and enjoyed working with her immensely. Her daughter, Melody, w
