The chopper lingered ominously in the sky above us, as if anticipating the arrival of someone significant. Christian turned towards me, his gaze still tethered to the hovering aircraft. The blades sliced through the air, creating a distinct hum, while the wind it stirred up resembled a miniature tornado.
"What are your thoughts?" he inquired. "Could it be here for Jonas?”
"I... have no idea," I replied, following his gaze and gazing up at the imposing figure. "I'll go and ask."
Without wasting another second, I sprinted towards the cabin's entrance. However, before crossing the threshold, I spotted Jonas, fully packed in his black suit. Behind him, Lucy was also prepared. As my eyes fell on her hand, I realized she was holding my suitcase.
