Chapter 6

Veronica's POV

"Bye. See you after school!" I said as I walked out of the door.

I got in my car and drove to the school. After parking my car and gabbing my bag, I walked towards Katie's classroom. I hadn't got to see her before she left because she remembered at last the second that she had a meeting before school. Sammie and Justine were already in the room making out in the back. Justin was in the hospital until the doctor saw some improvement. Mariah was also in the room. Believe it or not, the cops wouldn't arrest her because Justin pushed her first and she was only using self defense.

Self defense my ass.

Katie was wearing black jeans and a hot pink dress shirt. Her hair was pulled back into a messy ponytail and she was wearing black DC's. Her normal school outfit. It screams lesbian doesn't it? Anyways I walked over and kissed her head making her look up at me.

"Hey. How was Ana?" Katie asked.

"Fine. She was upset that she couldn't come with me." I told Katie.

"Are you guys bringing her with you on the trip?" Sammie asked.

"Yeah. She won't stay with my mom that long. She can barely stand being away from us for 7 hours let alone 10 days." I said.

Sammie nodded and went bac to being sappy with Justine. Mariah looked over at them and made a face, "You two are gross."

"f**k off mutt face." Sammie said.

"f**k you!" Mariah said.

"I will not have vulgar language in my fucing class room you two." Katie said.

"Says the lady that just said 'f*****g'." I smiled.

"You watch it. I know where you sleep." She grinned.

"Oh I'm so scared!' I said, running as she stood up. "I love you!"

"I love yo- Hi Mrs. Ross. How are you?" Katie asked.

"Just fine thank you. Veronica, my office." Mrs. Ross said as she walked out of the room.

I looked at Katie, "What I do?"

Katie Just shrugged and watched as I walked out of the class room not being able to do anything about it. I walked down to the office and the seceratary said to go right in. I walked in and sat down looking confused. Because I sure as hell was confused.

"I didn't do it." I said.

Mrs. Ross raised a brow, "Do what?"

"Whatever I'm in trouble for." I told her.

She laughed, "Your not in trouble. I just wanted to talk to you about the feild trip."

"Oh."

"Are you and Katie planning on sharing a room?"

"I think so. She was going to ask you about that."

"Ok. I just need you to have your mom sign these papers. I know your dating and your 18 but I need to turn them into the board of education so that they don't take Katie's job away."

"Oh. Alright. Anything else?"

"Are you guys bringing the baby?"

"Yeah. We have to, she can't go overnight without Katie or I."

"Alright. That's it for now. Have a nice day and try to stay out of trouble, ok?"

"No promises. Have a nice day Mrs. Ross."

I walked out and back to Katie's class. She was looking at papers so I walked over and opened her bag. She looked at me and raised a brow. When she seen me putting papers in it she just rolled her eyes and smiled. I always put important papers in her bag because I would loose them if I were to carry them with me all day.

The bell rang and I walked to my seat. I watched as my class mates walked in. The cheerleaders were talking about some new girl. The jocks were talking about some new girl, hell even the nerds were talking about the new girl. I looked at Katie and smiled. She is so fucing beautiful. Inside and out. I couldn't picture my life without her. Hell, I dont want to picture it without her. I love her so f*****g much. My thoughts were interrupted when Mrs. Ross walked in with the new girl.

Katie's POV

I talked tp Mrs. Ross for a second and smiled as she walked out. I looked at my new student and smiled, "Would you like to introduce yourself?"

"Hi my name is Dakota Starr. You can call me Kota. I'm 17. I just moved here with my mom and her boyfriend. I have a younger brother and sister. I like soccer and drawing. I'm bisexual. And yeah. Whatever else you wanna know just ask me." Dakota said.

"Alright. Thank you. You can take a seat next to Veronica. Veronica raise your hand." I told her.

Veronica put her hand up and looked around like she didn't know what was going on. Dakota smiled at her and winked. Veronica just smiled and looked back at me.

"Ok. I have some anouncements. One, we have our final today. Do your best, don't let me down. I have faith in you. My first period class is testing in here. The rest of you know where your going. Second, You have today to get through until your field trip. If anyone is sent down to the office you can't go. Be here bright and early tomorrow morning the bus leaves at 5:30 sharp for the airport. Be here by 5:20 if you want to be safe. And last but not least..... Thank you all for an amazing 2 years together. You are all amazing kids and I know you will all go far in life. I'm sure some of you will end up on TV. Good luck in life and try to keep in touch. I have a f*******:, don't be afraid to add me. You guys are all amazing kids." I said.

"We love you!" Veronica, Sammie and Justine yelled making the whole class scream that they love me.

"I love you guys to." I smiled.

The bell rang and they went to their testing locations. Here we go.

4 hours later......

"That was easy!" Veronica said.

"Never said it was going to be hard. I dont want anyone getting a failing grade on this test." I said.

They started to talk to each other and I let them go. I turned on my phone and seen 3 missed calls all from Veronica's mother. I texted her asking if everything was ok. My phone went off and I looked down at it.

'Ana isn't doing to well. She keeps screaming for Veronica. I tired to get her to take a nap but she refuses and keeps crying for her momma.' Kathy wrote.

'Does she have a fever or anything?' I asked.

'No. No fevers. She just keeps yelling 'momma'.' Kathy replied.

'Ok. I'll call my boss and see if you can bring her in for me. If that's okay?'

'That's perfectly fine Katie. I'll talk to you soon.'I sighed and picked up the phone to call my boss. After she said it was okay I wrote Kathy back and told her she could bring her in. The bell rang but most of the kids stayed here. Others wandered in. Dakota was talking to Veronica when Kathy walked through the door with Anastasia. I stood up and took her from Kathy. Kathy placed the diaper bag on my desk said bye and left. She was probably going to surprise Sam at work. What Veronica didn't know was that her mother and Sam had been secretly dating for a year now.

"Hey Ana-rocket. What's wrong?" I cooed.

"Momma?" She asked, "Momma!"

Veronica looked over and was at my side in 2 seconds flat, "What's wrong?"

I looked at her like she was nuts. Now everyone knew we were dating. Awesome.

"Your her momma?" One of them asked.

"Uhhhhhhhh." Veronica said.

Ya." Ana said, giving Veronica a hug. Veronica hugged her and started to rub her back.

I looked at my students and shrugged, "What. Tell me that if you had a chance you wouldn't tap that?"

They all laughed and went back to doing their own thing. See this is what I love. That I can look at these kids like my family with no judgement around. I looked back at my real family and decided to call it a day. When the bell rang, I grabbed my stuff and the diaper bag and walked out to sign out. I signed Veronica out to and she walked to her car and put Ana in before following me home. I needed to make sure Ana was ok before I went and took her on a trip all the way Paris.
