Chapter 15

Veronica's POV

"Veronica, wake up." Katie said.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"My water just broke. We gotta go. Go get Ana while I change." Katie said.

I jumped out of bed and changed as fast as I could. I was still pulling my shirt on as I ran down the hallway to Ana's room. I woke her up, grabbed her car bag and picked her up before running back into my room and slipping on my DC's. Katie was already dressed and was bending down to get the diaper bag and over night bag.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"Grabbing the bags." She said.

"No. Go get in the car and start calling people." I said as I grabbed the bags.

I shifted Ana around and she looked at me for a second before putting her head on my shoulder. We ran down to the car and I got Ana settled and threw the bags into the back seat beside her, making sure her bag was on top so she cold get it when she wanted it. I jumped in the car and buckled up as Katie called my mother. I pulled out and began the drive to the hospital.

We got there in like 15 minutes and someone was already waiting outside. I noticed that it was Krystal. We walked up to her and she smiled at us. Katie sat in the wheel chair grumbling about how she was okay to walk and that she had just walked around the house. Krystal wheeled her in and into the room she was supposed to deliver in. She was getting contractions that were only about 3 minutes apart. My mom had came in and taken Ana as soon as they got here.

"Alright mommy. You ready to push?" Dr. Reed asked.

"Yes ma'am." Katie said.

"Ok. On the next contraction I want you to push for me." She told Katie.

Katie pushed and Dr. Reed said she was doing good. She pushed with her next contraction and then had to be reminded to breath. She took a deep breath and pushed again. Dr. Reed smiled and I took that as a good sign. Katie pushed one more time and Dr. Reed looked at her. It showed on the ultra aouns that Jayden was the first one to come.

"Alright mommy. One more push and your baby will be out." Dr. Reed said. "And push."

Katie pushed and time froze. I grinned when I heard the loud wail that was Jayden telling us that everything was okay. Dr. Reed had me cut his umbilical cord. I smiled at him before they took him away to clean him off. I walked back up to Katie and kissed her forehead. She smiled up at me while she panted. I grinned down at her and moved her hair behind her ear.

"Whenever your ready mommy." Dr. Reed said.

"I'm ready." Katie replied.

"Okay. On the next contraction, give me a push." Dr. Reed said.

And Katie did just that. A couple seconds later and a second and much louder wail filled the room. I smiled and went to cut his umbilical cord. They took him away to clean him and I smiled when I was handed Jayden.

"Hey little man. I'm your momma." I said.

He opened his eyes and I smiled. They were blue just like his mommy. He tried to focus his eyes on my but couldn't. I held him close for a minute and then let Katie hold him. I was given Kayden. Kayden opened his eyes and yawned up at me. I smiled at him. He was so cute. He also had blue eyes.

The door opened and I looked over. Ana came running over to me. She went to climb up into my lap but stopped when she noticed Kayden. She looked at him and he opened his eyes again. I smiled when Ana reached up a hand to hold his.

"Who?" She asked me.

"This one is Kayden." I told her.

"Oh." She looked over at Katie.

"Who, mommy?" She asked.

"This is Jayden." Katie told her.

"I see?" She asked Katie.

"Of course you can." Katie said.

Faith helped her get on the bed so she could see Jayden. She smiled at him and he yawned at her. Everyone played pass the babies and soon it was time for them to go home. Ana was going to go stay with my mom so I could stay here and be with Katie and the boys. I smiled and gave her a kiss goodnight as I watched her walk away with my mom. I looked over at Katie. She was watching Ana go too.

"Are you tired?" I asked her.

"Yeah." She smiled.

"Can you take him real quick?" I asked.

"Yeah." She repeated and took Kayden from me also.

I got on one knee and smiled at her, "I know I have already asked but I'm gonna do it again. Katie you are the love of my life. I couldn't see myself with anyone else. I don't want to. So, will you marry me?"

"Yes! Its still yes!" She smiled and I slid the ring on her finger.

I gave her a kiss and took Kayden back. A nurse came in and watched us feed them, though I don't know why. We have a child already. Then we laid them down in the bassinets. The nurses came in and asked us if we wanted them to take the twins but we told them no. We passed out wrapped in each others' arms.

The next day we could take the twins home so my mom brought their car seats and even put them in the car for me. When we finally got home, I was beat. We walked in and put the twins and Ana down for a nap. I looked at Katie.

"What was yesterday's date?" I asked.

"March 5th." She answered.

"Yay! I guessed right!" I said.

"On what?" She asked.

"Remember that game Sammie made up? I guessed March 5th and that's when the twins were born." I said.

"Oh." She yawned.

I looked at the clock and sighed when I noticed that it was already lunch time. I got up and made some spaghetti o's for Ana and started to make bottles for the boys. Ana was soon yelling for us to come get her and right after I set her bowl at the table, Kayden let out a wail making Jayden scream. We walked up and I took a detour to Ana's room. I picked her up and walked into the nursery. I picked up Kayden and followed Katie back down the stairs.

"Ok. Ana, you get spaghetti o's." I said as I sat her in her highchair. "And Kayden, you get a nice warm bottle."

I sat at the table with Ana as I fed Kayden. Katie walked back in with Jayden and yawned again. I looked at her and smiled. She was so f*****g beautiful. Even though she hasn't had any sleep since yesterday she still looked perfect. After we fed the twins they passed out so we laid them in the playpen.

I looked over at Ana, who was playing with her blocks, "Hey Ana. Can I play?"

"Yeah momma." Ana said as she added another block whatever she was building.

I crawled over and started to build with her. Katie passed out on the couch and I knew it would be at least 3 hours until the twins woke up again. They slept so much. Ana was an active little baby so this is different. Pretty soon it was time for me to start cooking so I picked up Ana and we walked out into the kitchen.

"Wanna help me make dinner?" I asked her.

"What or dinner?" Ana asked.

"Chicken parm." I answered.

"Oh. Yeah me help." She said.

"Thank you princess." I said.

"Elome." She smiled.

We started to make dinner and then I heard movement from the other room. I looked in and smiled when I saw Kayden looking around. I sat Ana on the counter away from the stove and told her not to move. Then I walked out and picked up Kayden. I walked into the kitchen and handed Ana some spices to put in the sauce. I watched her put them in and told her when to stop. She had fun with the garlic and poured a little bit to much in there.

"Good thing we're not vampires." I said.

"Why?" Ana asked as she poured in another spice.

"Because they don't like garlic. You added a lot of garlic." I said.

"Oh." She grinned.

"Okay. That's good. Come here. I'll let you mix the sauce." I said and picked her up.

She mixed it and we let it go for a little bit. I sat her back on the counte and grabbed an oven mit to take out the chiken patties. I stuck a finger in the sauce and looked at Ana, "You never do this okay?"

"Okay." She smiled.

I turned the sauce off when I decided it was done and put the chicken patties on buns. I poured sauce on them and let Ana sprinkle cheese onto them. When everything was ready, I woke up Katie and had her eat while I made bottles knowing the twins would be hungry soon. I looked down at Kayden and smiled as he looked up at me and yawned.

"Well, go back to sleep silly. You don't have to be awake yet." I told him.

"Kay tie?" Ana asked me.

"Yeah. He's very tired." I told her.

"Oh. Why he no sleep?" She asked as she looked at her food.

"I don't know." I said. "You need too eat."

"Not ungry." She said.

"Why?" I asked.

"Too uch arlic." She answered.

"Too much garlic?" I asked.

"Yeah. Me ampire!" She said.

"Whaaaaa!" Kayden screamed and I popped the bottle in his mouth before he woke up Jayden.

Katie sighed and got up to get Jayden knowing he was going to wake up any second now.

"Whaaaaa!" Jayden screamed.

"Hush little man." Katie said as she picked him up. "Your okay."

She walked out and sat back down after she grabbed his bottle. Sh efed him as she finished eating. Ana looked at me when she was done eating and held her hands out for Kayden. I gave him to her and held his head. I taught her how to feed him and then let her take over. He fell finished his bottle and I burped him. I laid him back down and sighed.

"Come on Ana-rocket. It's bath time." I said.

"Okay." She walked out and started towards the stairs.

"Kayden is asleep in the playpen, babe." I said.

"Alright. Thank you." Katie called from the kitchen.

I picked Ana up and we walked upstairs. She picked out pajamas that had animals on them and we went into the bathroom. I ran her bath while she picked out the toys she wanted tonight. After I helped her undress and she got in the bath. I sighed and washed her before I sat back and watched her play. She looked up at me and smiled.

"Wa play momma?" She asked me.

"Yeah." I said.

"Here go." She handed me a rubber ducky.

"Thank you." I said and we started to play.

"No, Ducky. Go is way!" Ana said as she dragged my hand to where she wanted the ducky.

"Sorry, Horsey!" I said.

"What are you two doing?" Katie asked.

I looked over and smiled when I seen she had the twins. And Kayden was wide awake, his eyes wondering all over the place, "We're playing."

"Yeah." Ana smiled.

"Come on. It's 10:34. You gotta go to bed Ana rocket." Katie said.

"Kay. Bye Ducky. Bye Horsey." Ana said as she threw them and the rest of her bath toys into her bin.

I got her out and let the water out as I dried her off and put a diaper and her pajamas on her. I carried her to her bed and laid her down. She covered herslef up and reached up to me. I gave her a hug and a kiss before I read 'Green Eggs and Ham' to her.

"Good night Ana. I love you." I said and gave her another kiss.

"Night momma. I ove you." Ana said as she rolled over and fell asleep.

I turned off her light as I walked out. I peeked in the boys' room and noticed Kayden was still awake. I walked in and over to his crib. He ended up getting Monster Mutt. I smiled down at him.

"What are you doing awake?" I asked as I picked him up.

He made a face at me and I smiled. I rocked him back to sleep and but the baby moniter on that stand between their cribs. I walked out and into mine and Katie's room only to find Katie passed out on the bed. I grabbed her a pair of pj's after changing into mine and walked over to the bed. I undressed her and put her pj's on her then moved her to the inside of the bed. I lifted her up a little so I could take her necklace, which held the second ring on it, off. I climbed into bed and relaxed as I looked at the time.

11:15.

So if I went to bed now then I would have..... about 4 hours of asleep. Thank god. I went to sleep and was awoken 4 hours later by a loud wail, followed by and even louder wail, followed by a 'momma, mommy! Boys!'

I got up along side Katie and we walked into the nursery. I picked up Kayden while Katie took Jayden and walked downstairs. I make bottles and sat at the table to feed Kayden. After they were fed and burped, the twins were fast asleep again. We walked back upstairs with them and put them in bed. We were walking back down to our room when Ana's door opened and she came out holding a stuffed rocket.

"Are you okay Ana-rocket?" I asked.

"Yeah. Me sleep you?" She asked.

"Of course you can princess." Katie said as she picked her up.

"Wan walk." Ana told her and gave her a hug.

"Okay." Katie said as she hugged her back before setting her back down on the floor.

We walked into our bedroom and got comfortable before falling asleep again. When I woke up the next time it was because of Ana. She was jumping on the bed trying to wake me up. I grabbed her and laid her back down when I noticed that it was only 6:09 in the morning.

"Go to sleep Ana." I said.

"Why?" She asked.

"Because its very early." I said.

"Oh. Night momma. Ove you." She said and cuddled into Katie.

I smiled and fell back to sleep until 11:02, when the boys decided it was finally time to get up and start the day. Or they decided they were hungry. I yawned as I got up and went to get them. Katie told me to give her a second but fell right back to sleep as soon as she was done talking. Not that I minded. I liked having one-on-one time with my kids. More bonding time. I haven't had enough of that with Jayden. I brought them down satirs and put them in the playpen so I could make their bottles then fed and burped them.

I got up and made breakfast for Katie, Ana and myself. It was just bacon annd pancakes. I yawned again for what felt like the 100th time that morning. The twins really took a lot out of you. I sighed and made plates before calling them down for breakfast. I put their plates on the table while I grabbed Ana's highchair. Katie sat her in it and I gave her her plate. I sat down and started to eat.

"Did you sleep good?" I asked Katie.

"Yeah." Ana said.

I smiled, "That's good. Did you sleep good babe?"

"Yeah. I have to go back to work tomorrow though." Katie told me.

"Alright. I'll keep everything nder control." I promised.

"Call over Faith and Blair if you need help. They'll be over in a heart beat." Katie said.

"What about Sammie, Justine and Justin?" I asked.

"I love them, and I love you. But I really don't want to come home to a house full of kids." Katie said.

"Alright. That's understandable." I smiled at her.

"Thank you." She smiled back.

We finished eating and everyone came over giving Katie and I time to take a quick shower. We hurried it up and got dressed as fast as we could so we could get back to the kids before they got hungry. I ran out and made bottles while I made Ana two sanwiches and cut them so they were shaped like rockets. I ate the part that was cut off then called Ana and got her settled before putting another bottle in the bottle warmer. I made Katie her sandwich and grabbed the bottles. I walked out just in time for them to start crying. I took Kayden while Blair fed Jayden. Faith was to chicken to do it.

We laid them back down and Katie went to eat before we sat down to talk. We talked about everything that was going on in our lives. Justine and Faith talked about college. Sammie and Blair talked about football colleges that they were getting into. Justin talked about going into the army. I talked about Mercury Records. My mom and Sam talked about how they were thinking about getting married also. And Katie just passed out. So she only talked about..... something about chopping Kimberly's head off. With a candy cane. Ana talked about movies that she wanted to see, like Pitch Perfect 2.

"So are you and Katie done now?" Blair asked me.

"With kids?" I asked.

"Yeah." She answered.

"I think so." I smiled at Kayden who was now looking up at me.

Yes. He had woken up. Again.

"You think so?" Faith asked.

"Yeah. I hope so. I mean, I love kids and all. But three is enough for me. And Katie's family is known for twins. On both sides. All of her sister have 4 kids because they could only have twins." I said.

"Really?" Justin asked.

"Really." I said.

"All of them?" He asked.

"Yes. Why?" I said slowly.

"Because Konan's hot as f**k and I know she's single. Is she a lesbian?" He asked.

"She's bi." I told him.

"Think you can get me her number?" He asked.

"I can try." I told him.

"Hell yes! Thank you!" He said.

"No problem." I looked over at Ana who was watching Jayden sleep.

"Momma. Jay cold?" She asked me.

"Why?" I asked.

"Ankie off." She said.

"Can you cover him back up please?" I asked.

"Yeah." She said as she covered him.

"Thank you." I smiled..

"Elcome. Door!" She yelled, startling Katie who groaned.

Sammie got up and got it. She walked back with Kimberly on her heels.

"Nooooo." Katie groaned.

"Well, hello sunshine." Kimberly said.

"Why the f**k are you here?" Katie whined.

"I came to see you and the kids." Kimberly said.

"Go away." Katie said sounding like Ana when she got mad.

"No. I missed you. When are you coming back to work?" Kimberly asked.

"Never. I'm going to stay home and eat ice cream all day long for the rest of my life. Wait. Would yo leave me if I got fat?" Katie asked.

"No.But that's not good for your health so lets not do that." I told her.

"Fiiiiiiine. Kimberly. Go. Away." Katie said.

"No." Kimberly said.

"I'm suing you for harasment." Katie glared at her.

"You love me." Kimberly said.

"I hate you." Katie deadpanned.

Everyone but Kimberly laughed. Ana looked at her then walked over to me.

"Why it here?" She asked.

"What?" I asked her.

She pointed at Kimberly, "That."

"Kimberly? She works with mommy." I told her.

"Is it ooman?" Ana asked.

"Human?" I asked her.

"Yeah." Ana said.

"Did you just ask me if Kimberly was human?" I asked.

"Yeah." Ana smiled.

Everyone started to laugh. It took a while for us all to calm down.

"Oh god Ana. Your too much!" Sammie laughed.

"Yes, Ana, Kimberly is a human." I said.

"Oh." She said and went to play with her toys.

"If your not gone in 30 seconds, I'm calling the cops." Katie said.

"Fine. I'll see you at work tomorrow." Kimberly said as she walked out the door.

"Its gone!" Ana yelled,

We all laughed. Oh my god. What would we do without her?
