LAURA'S HOUSE
Laura was in her living room, curled up on the couch with a warm cup of tea, letting the sounds of the movie fill the quiet space.
The day had been uneventful, and she was looking forward to unwinding without interruptions. But her peaceful evening was short-lived.
KNOCK KNOCK!
A knock at the door cut through the movie, startling her. Setting her tea down, she stood and walked to the door, unlocking it to find a delivery man standing there with a package in his hands.
"Yes... How may I help you?" Laura asked.
"Good evening, ma'am. I'm looking for Miss Laura Howard," he said.
Laura hesitated a bit before responding. "I'm Laura," she said.
“I have a package for you, ma'am,” he said, extending the package toward her. “It’s from Mr. Miguel McGrath.”
