Cole’s phone buzzed on the table, interrupting the silence in his office. He glanced at the screen and raised an eyebrow when he saw the caller ID. It was Elizabeth McGrath.

Curious, he picked up the call. “Hello?”
There was a slight pause before Elizabeth’s voice came through, a touch awkward. “Hi, Cole. I hope I’m not bothering you," she said.
