Benjamin sat at his desk when the sharp buzz of his intercom interrupted him. He pressed the button.
"Yes?"
His secretary’s voice came through. "Sir, there are two policemen here to see you," she said.
Benjamin frowned. He was not expecting any policemen. "What do they want?"
"They didn’t say, sir. Just that it’s important, and they can't wait," she said.
His grip tightened around his pen. The recent collapse at the construction site had sent shockwaves through the company, but he hadn't expected the police to show up in his office.
