As Thomas stood there, still fuming, his eyes remained fixed on the door Marcus had just walked out of. His mind raced, replaying the conversation over and over. Before he could fully process everything, the door swung open again, and Nathan walked in. He took one look at Thomas’s tense posture and scowling face but chose to ignore it.
