Miguel walked into his office after a long meeting and found his sister, Elizabeth, sitting there, waiting for him.
Without stopping, he headed straight to his chair, loosening his tie slightly as he sat down.
“Why are you here?” he asked, settling in and rubbing his temple.
Elizabeth crossed her arms. “I’m waiting for you so we can go home together. That was the plan, remember?”
Miguel sighed apologetically. “Yeah, about that. I’m not done yet.”
Elizabeth frowned. “I thought you’d be ready to leave after your meeting.”
“I am done with the meeting,” Miguel clarified, “but I still have work to do. You’ll have to wait.”
