NELSON ESTATE Eric Nelson stormed into the meeting room, his eyes scanning the faces of his father, Edmund, and his uncles who sat frozen. “I just saw Miguel leaving,” Eric announced “How did the meeting go?” Edmund remained silent, staring blankly ahead. “Father?” Eric pressed, frustration creeping into his voice. “Tell me it’s not what I think it is.” Nathan snapped, “And what exactly do you think, Eric?” “I think Miguel refused our proposal,” Eric shot back, his eyes changing, “and you let him leave.
