NELSON ESTATE
Nathan Nelson walked into his brother Edmund’s private study at the family’s estate.
The door clicked shut behind him, the sound alerting Edmund of his presence. Edmund sat behind his large desk, papers neatly stacked, He barely glanced up from his work.
"Nathan," Edmund said in his usual calm tone, taking off his reading glasses and placing it on the table. "What brings you here?" Edmund asked.
Nathan, pausing in front of the desk, didn’t waste time. "I have news," he said as he pulled a chair and sat down.
Edmund raised an eyebrow but said nothing, gesturing with a small wave of his hand for Nathan to continue.
"It’s Elizabeth McGrath," Nathan said, his voice tight with some kind of excitement. "She’s in the hospital. Unconscious."
