Chapter16

Music was blasting through every speaker in the room and the party was popping, people were dancing crazily, some having s*x right there on the floor and others drinking like their lives depended on it. The club was just as I had imagined it to be—a crazy place. After navigating my way through the crowd and heading to the restroom, I quickly washed my neck and hands, the area I had poured engine oil on, then I sprayed my body spray and stepped outside. “Hey pretty, would you like a private service?” A male stripper asked as he walked up to me and I blushed. He was tall and muscular, with a teasing smile on his face and eyes that reminded me of Xavier's. Fuck, why was I thinking about Xavier?! “No, sorry,” I replied. He winked then walked over to the next lady, slightly moving his body to the music. I weaved my way through the crowd, slowly easing up into the space. At least, as crazy as it was, I knew the club only housed rich people so I didn't have to fear getting drugged and then being led to the bathroom where my liver or something would be ripped out. I shuddered at the thought, but ignored it regardless and went to get myself a drink. As I stood by a corner, slowly moving my body to the beat of the music and sipping from the bottle of wine I had gotten earlier, a young handsome man came to me. “You look beautiful, mind dancing with me?” He was polite, but the look in his eyes was anything but polite. They were filled with lust and fire that made me feel like he could burn me with just his eyes. “Uhm no, sorry. I came with someone.” I uttered carefully, not wanting to be rude as something told me that the man in front of me was a big shot. His aura, the way people moved for him to come talk to me, and how his outfit screamed wealth, I knew I didn't want to get on his bad side. “Hmmm. No one has ever said no to me, are you sure you don't want to dance with me, I can make your time worth it.” He inclined, his eyes never leaving my body for even a second. “Honestly, no thank you,” I muttered with a smile then tried to walk away. A gasp escaped my lips when I felt a strong arm around my own and before I could process it, the man yanked me towards him, making my head collide into his chest. I tried to move but he held my waist, pinning me to him. “W-what are you doing? Let go of me.” I said, struggling to free myself from his embrace. “No one says no to me, dove.” With this, he attempted to force me to go with him, but then he suddenly stopped. I was still struggling to release my hand that he was holding but when he stopped, I stopped struggling and then raised my head to meet his gaze, wondering why he stopped. He was looking at something so I followed his gaze and to my surprise…it was Xavier. He looked calm, too calm as he stared at me. “Xavier, dude what are you doing here? I thought you hated the club?” Matthew finally spoke, his hand still tight around my wrist. Xavier finally turned to face him. “A little birdy told me that a stubborn breeder of mine left my home without permission so I'm here to collect her.” He said this, with eyes now pinned on me, eyes that felt electric. “Ok bro, good luck finding her, I'm going to have fun with this one.” He was about to walk past Xavier but was stopped as Xavier placed a hand on his chest. “You're holding my breeder, Matthew.” As if I got some kind of disease, Matthew let go of my hand. “f**k! She's yours?” He faced me. “You're just a breeder? You look too beautiful to be one, and Xavier's? Do you plan to die or something? Honestly, I don't even want to know.” He averted his gaze back to Xavier. “Sorry man, I didn't know she was yours.” “Tell the others—no one should ever make the mistake of touching what is already mine, I'm only letting you off because we've gone a long way and you didn't know, but I won't forgive the others,” Xavier uttered with a tone filled with so much power, it felt like we'd teleported to a company and were not in the club anymore. Were they business partners or friends? Was there a kind of code between them? And who were ‘the others’ “Don't worry about it, I'm going to pass it on.” With this, he strode away, the power he came with going with him as well. I didn't know who he was but something told me he was just as powerful as Xavier and would have had me if Xavier had not come in. I knew, because the bouncers in the room saw what he was doing yet, said nothing. For a few minutes, Xavier just stared at me then turned around and walked away. I didn't need to be told, I knew I had to follow him, so I did, now dragging my gown down as if I had just realized it was uncomfortable. I yelped in pain when we got to Xavier's car and he slammed me against it. He spun me around as he pressed my chest against the car while he locked my hands behind my back. I could feel his piercing gaze on my neck and I couldn't help but fear that he wanted to put a hole in there. “P-please, you're hurting me,” I muttered in a low tone as I struggled to free myself from him. “I’m hurting you? Huh?” He asked, tone as dark as night and it made my skin prickle with goosebumps. “Oh, I'm going to show you what hurt feels like.” Saying this, he bent me over slightly and without warning pushed his hard member inside me.
