Saraphina POV
From the moment I walked into Xavier's pack, I knew I had lost the old me. My world has changed. And after what happened the other day, I knew there was no going back. The old, timid, shy Saraphina was gone. How on earth did I go from a girl who'd blush hard whenever my twin sister spoke dirty to a girl who orgasmed from touching herself in front of a cold Alpha?
As if the dreams and constant pleasuring myself weren't enough, I grew bold enough to play Xavier's dirty games. Heck, it seemed like I was the inventor of the game. Xavier f****d me so hard the whole evening and through the night like he was starved and was certain that he wouldn't live another day. I was even surprised that I had matched his energy, but unlike me, who'd crashed out in bed immediately he was done, Xavier still managed to get dressed and walked out of my room, like he hadn't just destroyed me.
He sure did see me as nothing but a breeder because it seemed like he would rather hit his head on the wall than spend the night with me.
I didn't know how long I slept but when I woke up, it was already nine in the evening of the next day. I had slept the whole morning and into the night after what Xavier did to me and only woke up later.
I almost couldn't feel my legs by the time I woke up, but my stomach was growling hungrily, and I knew I had to quickly go grab something to eat. So I managed to drag my legs down to the kitchen to make a quick snack.
However, to my surprise, Xavier was there, preparing something for himself. I remembered he said he didn't want us to cross paths unless it was breeding day or night, so I tried to run back inside, but I heard him say, “Come back. I had already sniffed you.”
My heart was thumping really fast as I slowly turned around and began walking towards him, silently praying that I wouldn't get some sort of punishment. He was a strict man. A strict man who almost made me sleep outside—that I would never forget.
“What are you here for?” He questioned in a firm tone, eyes fixed on the coffee he was stirring.
“I-I was hungry and wanted to grab something to eat.”
“Are you still hungry? And don't dare lie to me.”
I bit the inside of my cheek. Of course, I had wanted to lie, but because he had warned against it, I said. “Yes, I'm still hungry.” And as if on cue, my stomach rumbled loudly.
He glanced down at my stomach then back at stirring his coffee. He was quiet for a while, and it became awkward, but I didn't say a word. I wasn't allowed to speak until I was asked to and although he didn't say I couldn't move unless instructed to, I could bring myself to move. It felt like it could cost my life if I took the wrong step.
“What are you still standing there for? Aren't you going to eat?” He asked, now taking a sip from his glass.
“Y-yes.” I was a little out of it at that moment, too affected by his presence and aura. However, I managed to serve food from one of the many dishes the chefs had made, tossed it in the microwave, and waited a few minutes. I had decided to have roasted chicken with potatoes. I thought that by the time it was out of the microwave, Xavier would have been gone. But for some reason, it felt like he was drinking his coffee slower than intended, and that made me really nervous.
Soon, he was done drinking his coffee, he dropped the cup and walked away, but before he left, he commanded. “Be careful not to bump into me next time.”
I didn't even know I was holding my breath until he had gone and I released a long sigh. Jeez, why did it feel like he was sucking air out of my lungs?
Anyway, instead of going to the dining room to eat, I decided to eat in the kitchen. The meals were nice so I really enjoyed them. I was about to do the dishes when an omega walked into the kitchen. “Hello, ma’am.” She greeted me with a smile and I nodded with an awkward smile on my face.
As I was doing the dishes, she was making tea or something, I couldn't tell what it was. It wasn't my concern, though, as I had assumed it was for her, but then, she brought it to me, saying, “Please have this. Hope it's to your liking?”
I raised a brow, looking at the perfectly brewed tea in confusion, then I raised my head to meet her gaze. “Sorry, I didn't ask you to make me tea?”
“Yes, yes I know. But this will help a lot, especially if your bones hurt.”
Wait. What? How did she know my legs were hurting? Was it Xavier, did he ask this? No, he wouldn't even care. Anyway, I hesitated, but I took the tea. It was nice and I liked the way it burned my throat.

The next day came by so quickly and damn, I was bored as hell. In my previous pack, I was always so occupied with some pack duties and had this small baking business that had boomed, but now as a breeder, I had nothing, except for the days I needed to have s*x. But the moon above, if I didn't want to overpleasure myself all day, then I would need a job.
I knew I had to speak to Xavier about it. But I was scared. Would he agree to allow a mere breeder to get a job?
I wasn't going to get a real job anyway, just something to keep me busy, so it shouldn't be a big deal, right? I had thought, trying my best to stay positive.
“Welcome Alpha.” I heard the Beta say, and also a few omegas, and I knew that Xavier had returned from the office.
My heart started racing fast, scared of what the outcome may be. He may allow me to look for a job, but something told me he wouldn't let me get one so easily. There could be a price to pay! The problem was, was I ready for that?
