Again, Mike was here early. I felt physically better, but I made Mike watch an hour of Garner Ted Armstrong with me. I felt the need to center myself with the Good Word. We played World Series pinball until church let out. Mike now leads me, 7—1. In the backyard, we ended up tilling nine small rows in the garden this afternoon. Mike chopped and hoed the clumps of dirt into small workable bits as we cut a seven-by-nine plot. While we were playing more pinball, we soaked the seeds in water on the back porch. Later we dropped them in the dirt and covered them into darkness: lettuce, green beans, watermelon, squash, carrots, radishes, and cabbage. A little of each. That was a lot of work.
