Aciah took a cold shower. Cooling her body was the only way to resist the urges she had. She stood I'm the shower for a while still trying to come to grips with what was happening to herself. She wrinsed off the soap off her this luscious hair and wrapped a towel around her to get out.
Aciah opened the door to her bedroom from the Bathroom and ran clean into a large boulder like chest.
Edric was standing in front of her door about to knock to inform her she was needed down stairs. Aciah burned in the face with embarrassment. What are you doing in my room? I thought the door was locked? Aciah sprinted one question after another with out missing a breath.
Edric heard a scream coming from outside with his wolf abilities. Everyone was on high alert. Edric grabbed the clothes off of her bed and shoved them into her chest demanding her to get dressed immediately.
Danger lurked around the corner. The wind whistled. Something was outside causing a dust storm around the brick wall.
Edric took Aciah by the wrist and led her to an empty hallway with haste. Wiping the wall to search for a device hidden behind a single picture in the hallway he nicked his finger.
"You and Thyra are the only one with access to the device. Blow into this hole and the walls will shift for an escape hall out of here underground. Take it down till you get to me I will find you. don't open the end of the hatch till I get there understand?" Edric instructed her clearly step by step.
Aciah shook her head and blew in the oval hole where a single tube was barely noticeable inside of it. The walls began to shift forward enough to slide to the right and turn to cross the entire hallway blocking anyone from accessing her. she was boxed in from the rest of the chateau and the hallway in front of her now was her only access. a long stairway down led her straight to the bottom of the cliff and to a sandy beach.
An invisible wall stood infront of her as she reached the bottom. She coul hear the screams of people from above fighting. A vampire walked infront of her from outside of the wall and never noticed she was there. She assumed it was a magical wall that made her invisible to the vampire and just slid her feet to slowly back away.
Edric was still topside fighting over four dozen vampires that broke through the barrier wall. women were turned and kids taken hostage. The men we instantly taken to their demise.
Edric shifted to find Thyra. He took each attack from the vampires with ease. Every time they would try to subdue him he smiled. The small scratches from a vampire cut deep enough to look like he was sliced with a thousand paper cuts. Tossing each vampire and ripping them apart as he wnt with his long claws he came to a sudden halt when a single blade pierced his spinal cord.
A loud howl came out and Thyra went super nova witch hurling every single vampire in the air with tree roots. The pack surrounded Edric as he shifted back into his human form. His Beta came and carried him to the shore where Aciah was.
Aciah didn't know how to get to him so she threw herself through the invisible barrier and landed straight on her face. she shuffled to Edric to tend to his wounds.
His beta pulled out the blade and his blood started to gush like a busted pipe out of his back. Aciah stepped into medic mode and tore his shirt off of him to compress the wound.
Take him back to the chateau or grab me a medic bag one of the two but I need to get him to a surgeon now. She instructed each item she needed and the Beta went get it.
Thyra came back with the Beta this time full of vampire left overs. She knelt beside Aciah and grabbed her hands. Thrya instructed Aciah to close her eyes as she began to chant.
The wounds began to close but his internal damage was too severe to fully heal him. He was too damaged for magic to fix which left him to depend on his wolf healing.
Edric passed out from the pain. Aciah ordered the Beta to follow her to a safe location. Thyra followed behind them up the stairs. She closed the barrier again with magic so no one would follow behind them catching them off guard.
When they reached the top Thyra whispered Latin to the doorway for it to close back up after they exited the secret hall. The chateau was in a complete mess but Aciah's room was in immaculate condition.
"Thyra, could you put a barrier on this room so no one may enter?" Aciah asked. Thyra nodded and began to barricade the room with a magical force field.
The rest of the straggling vampires were taken out by the pack. They began cleaning up the chaos left behind. A few servants came from underground tunnels with children of the pack. Slowly they restored the chateau and had things running smoothly again. It seemed as if it were a regular occurrence here the way they were all so organized. Thrya left to help restore the wall so they can have a defensive field if the vampires were to come back again.
Wake up for me please, Aciah pleaded with Edric. He slept silently for over a week. Aciah stepped up since everyone began to turn to her for answers.
A doctor from the pack came running to Aciah. "He's awake! He's awake!" The doctor yelled. Aciah raced with Thyra and stopped at the door to the room. With their hearts racing they both walked in to see Edric but was shocked at his condition.
Thyra smiled and embraced Edric with a warm hug. Aciah shut down her emotions and just walked away frustrated. "I'm going to kill them all," she said. A thick fog covered the sky and everything went dark.
