Chapter Five Hunter escorted Rachel to the dance floor, finding a cozy spot amongst the crowd. His right hand wrapped around her waist, and her left draped over his strong shoulder. He led effortlessly, like he’d danced a thousand times before. So unlike her ex who was awkward and self-conscience about people watching him dance. She couldn’t remember when they’d last danced together. She and Hunter moved in together as the singer’s voice sent them on waves of melodious bliss. She couldn’t have conjured up a better night in her fantasies. Hunter’s charm was genuine and Rachel almost laughed out loud. If Richie was being charming, it was a disguise for manipulation. It had taken Rachel a few years to figure that out. As it had for Cinderella, she knew the night would soon come to an end
