Friday over breakfast, Rachel still glowed from the magical night she’d had with the mystery man Hunter. She was unbelievably thankful that she’d gone. She’d told the kids it was sort of a work function, so that morning they hadn’t mentioned a thing, but it was all Rachel could think about. “Okay, kids, grab your backpacks. We gotta go.” She dropped off the kids on time and made it to work to find Roger at his computer, a deep crease in his forehead. “Hey, Rachel. Glad you’re here.” He held up a sheet of paper.
