PRIDE “I love you.”  When people talk about heartbreak they say it’s a piercing kind of pain that rips you apart. I didn’t believe them. How could such a foolish thing cause that much pain and suffering? It was a laughable. If only I knew then that I would be experiencing it because now I understood them perfectly.  It’s like drowning. Slowly but surely it suffocates you and just when you think it couldn’t get any worse, the pain starts to tear you apart from the inside. The anguish and dread I feel is unimaginable. I’ve lived in Hell my whole life but nothing- nothing will ever compare to this.  It hurts to the point that I can’t breath.  The word pain doesn’t even do it justice as I watch Lilith dig her claws through the chest of the love of my life.
