“I wish we could stay a little longer.” Tierney sat on the grass, facing the farmhouse as the sun sank lower in the sky. This place was just as much her home as the palace. Sure, she didn’t get to come as often as she’d like, but there were no courtiers bowing, no crushing expectations, no one else to make happy but herself.
