🖤🩸“I have always wondered what my destiny was. This vampiric witcher believes it’s to bear his pup, and to drink from me.” – Frida King🩸🖤
…
“I have nothing to hide, your Majesty,” I said.
“Hmm,” he said, staring at me. “Then why did you disappear the day we slept together?”
“When did that happen?” I asked, rubbing my head trying to recall what he talked about.
“The night I came for you,” he blurted out, only for some hazy moments to show up in my head.
My fall, traumas… everything. The minute the pictures came into my head, I widened my eyes wondering how they left my mind. I had been so engrossed in the training and my responsibilities that I forgot something as that happened.
“Do you perhaps have something you want to tell me?” he asked, staring at me deliciously with his dark eyes on me. “After all, I’m your confidant,”
“N-No,”
How could I dare say the reason I was like that? It would only get me mocked more. A princess has to be strong for her Kingdom. Once her reputation was ruined, there was no going back.
“Just to clarify, we didn’t sleep together did we?” I asked, narrowing my eyes.
“No, we didn’t,” he said clasping my shoulders in his hands brushing them firmly. “Just to be clear, when we actually do it, it’ll be hard. There’s no way you’ll be on your feet, princess,”
I became flustered on the spot moving away from him, only for him to smirk. He moved closer to me, and I took another step back with this continuing until I hit the wall. “What are you doing?” I asked. “We are at the girls quarters,”
My wolf surfaced instantly, jumping excitedly as he approached us making me face palm mentally.
Can you stop? You’re engaging him.
“But I can smell you mate, you want me,” he muttered.
“You know we are mates?” I said, just to clarify.
“Did you think I wouldn’t find out? You clearly underestimate me,” he muttered making me flinch.
Dangerous. This was dangerous.
I was supposed to be in the lead, bring it up first, and use it to my advantage. But the way this went now, he was the one at lead. No, I couldn’t mate him.
He was the one responsible for my parent’s disappearance. I had no idea what his blood comprised, apart from that. I could not let things go this way.
I couldn’t take the risk. I had to reject him. Hopefully, the Moon Goddess pities me and sends a second chance mate. But now, I had to use it to my advantage. Yes, I had to-
“Do not think this gives you direct access to me, for a second,” he suddenly muttered, hitting the wall beside me dangerously. “Until I’m sure your intentions are genuine, you remain in the Games,”
“Then reject me,” I muttered nonchalantly. His amusement went to another thing as he stared at me in surprise. “It’s better to be mateless, than have a mate that won’t acknowledge us on first meeting,”
I said, with fisted hands staring at him with hate in my eyes. To think he’d make my parents disappear and still call the shots. No way.
He leaned in with his face only inches away from mine, till our noses brushed. Electricity laced my skin, from the first bare contact as I gasped wanting more.
“Don’t test me, Frida,” he said making me smile. He surely didn’t know me.
“Then I’d do it for you, I Frida Pumpkin reject you Draco-“ His lips immediately connected with mine, claiming it. I stiffened under his kiss refusing to give back. I have never met a man so demeaning.
I had my own intentions yes.
Yet… it didn’t mean I’d let him treat me like muck.
“Open up,” he let out, but I only stiffened further.
My wolf stirred me to loosen up, but I didn’t give in to her, even though I knew it was only a matter of time.
“You’ve… made your choice, let me… make mine,” I muffled, even with knowing this was going nowhere. There was no way I’d move a King known to be brutal.
“Please,” he groaned.
“No,”
“Why…?”
I pulled away, turning the other way only for him to bury his nose in the crook of my neck.
A moan threatened to escape my lips, but I was quick to silence it. I had to be careful. Really wary, so this didn’t turn against me.
“If you want me, then do it the right way,” I said, before adding, “Make me your Queen, our Goddesses approve it. Why won’t you accept it?”
“You won’t tell me your true intention, that’s why,” he let out trailing his lips on my neck. I pressed my lips firmly with fisted hands.
“And, what if I have none?”
“Everyone has an intention. The same way we are each other’s confidant, you need something from me, and so do I,” he muttered, clasping his other hand firmly with my left fixating it on the wall.
By now, my hair fell loosely from the struggles.
My wolf burned through me, making me hot inside with desire needing him. I searched for what to do, only to come up with the best thing available.
I started sobbing. He arched a brow, staring at me.
“Are you crying?”
“So, what if I am, hun?” I let out, “You doubt me, thinking I’m up to something and now I…” I sniffled before continuing, “I just found out that my future mate is making me participate in a Game that can claim my life. How do I react to that?”
“Why am I falling for this, even though it’s obvious you’re manipulating me?” he said, staring at me making me shrug, and taking my other hand in his, he settled it in front of us. “Fine, I’ll make you my Queen,”
He added making me smile. This was what I liked to hear.
