🖤🩸“I have always wondered what my destiny was. This vampiric witcher believes it’s to bear his pup, and to drink from me.” – Frida King🩸🖤
…
“My King,”
I noticed he had a stern look. His dark hair complimented most of his face which was pinned on me. His coal black eyes were mysterious, as they stared at me.
“You’re here,”
At his voice, my head went blank. I felt it seep out slowly, with my Lycan restricting us from thinking.
I didn’t know why.
“Yes... I am here,” I added. She settled, almost stringing me along with her when I snapped our bond.
Can you stop? I told her. She purred in a submissive tone, smiling as she lay down. I could not believe it. She never acted this way around strangers.
“Who are you and why are you here?” he suddenly let out. I waited until she stabilized before replying him.
“Sorry?”
“I chose you as mine as you asked, would you tell me now?” he muttered. I looked around for bait instantly.
I had to play him and not tell him the truth.
Of who I am.
“As I said earlier, my name is Frida. I’m from the House of the Pumpkins,” I said in a low tone, “I’m here as your breeder,”
I said those words with an intent.
To find a way out of this. I couldn’t be bred by him.
I wasn’t even interested neither did I plan on having a kid soon. But I said it anyway, with an aim to come to a bargain later.
“What were you doing on the ship, Frida?” he asked, not questioning my last name which was a bit weird.
“Hunting,” I let out, looking straight two hands behind me. He stared at me furrowing his brows.
“Hunting what?”
“I disguised myself as a girl to hunt as it’s not allowed for women in my Kingdom, my King,” I added, chin up.
“Interesting, the practice for breeders started a while back, before I sailed back to my Kingdom,” he said before adding, “There is no way you partook in the practice if you were on the ship. So who are you?”
He rose from his seat this time, advancing at me.
“I-I am here to be your breeder, my King,” I stammered.
“And the other gap…? I saw your strength on the ship, what are you, Frida?” he asked again.
“I-“
“You?”
“I mean, I am-“
“You are?”
“Can you ask me one question at a time?” I blurted out. “And where is my puppet, dammit,”
He smirked, “That’s much better now,”
“What is?” I let out.
“You are yourself now. The girl I met on the ship, the same one who confronted me about her belongings before she knew my identity,” he added.
I had to be careful. So he didn’t see through me or my act. Extremely cautious.
Thus, I cleared my voice, “I assure you that I’m in no pretense of any such and I’m respecting your title, my King,” I said bending my neck slightly as I said.
I noticed my Lycan wasn’t resisting, maybe it had to do with the fact that he was a Lycan.
“I’d choose to believe that, but I can’t,” King Draco said.
“How so?” I let out clearing my voice this time correcting, “Why don’t you believe me, my King?”
“Because clearly you do not know what I am,” he suddenly let out. I furrowed my brows once more as his demeanor suddenly changed.
“Are you something I should be wary of?”
“I’m a vampire,” he said. “But that’s not all, I’m a hybrid mix with a warlock’s blood. As a witcher, I hunt monsters and can tell when a supernatural is lying,” King Draco revealed, staring at me in amusement.
I eyed him as he stepped forward, a bit closer as he sniffed my neck he then trailed my shoulder blades taking my hands in his. He examined them dropping it and going right behind me.
I seized this opportunity to extend my claws only for my wolf to take it back inside. I tried again and she did it again.
I wondered what made her so calm when we were obviously in danger. Holding my garments, I couldn’t help but think.
I didn’t see this coming. It made me wonder what more he knew. If he knew who I was…?
No, let me not overthink this. If he asked me who I was, it meant he didn’t know. I had to search for a way to get out of this. So he suspected me lesser. I had to cover up and think of something. He had to believe me.
“So what are you going to do to me now?” I asked him, swallowing.
Only for him to remove his robe’s jacket. I stared at his bare chest in disbelief, holding the hems of my gown and coughing instantly.
“W-What are you doing?!” I asked him.
He wore only his pants which highlighted his lean waist and sturdy body.
“I gave you a chance. To get familiar with me or not, it seems you chose the latter,”
I scrunched my nose immediately.
“And what makes you think you have the right to my innocence?”
He smirked staring at me in amusement.
“A virgin, for the first time. That’s surprising considering your adventures and exploits, Frida,”
“My innocence is none of your business, you nosey King!” I exclaimed knowing I was damned now. Control myself. That was all I had to do now I had stirred him.
“Not when you’re here as my breeder,” he said. “You took the form for me, didn’t you? To get me to notice you, a lower rank, isn’t it?”
“That’s far from the truth, my King,” I said in a steady tone hoping he saw this as an apology.
“Then what is? Since you refused to tell me,”
“That’s none of your business,” I said.
“It is a business of mine that a woman is posing to be a breeder when she isn’t truly meant to be here, don’t you think?” he said.
I moved to the other direction in a bid to go away from him when my wolf tugged me hard. I stayed in a spot staring at the King as something snapped in me.
My mind wandered for a bit at the thought that he was the aristocratic head. And I made a vow to myself, seduce the head.
But staring at him, at how he looked at me made me think otherwise. If he was indeed guilty. Or had anything to do with my parent’s disappearance.
I stared at King Draco only to notice his skin slowly became pale. It was almost like he was a different person, with a distinct aura as he stared at me.
“Ah, Frida…” he trailed. “Too late. My vampire thirsts for something innocent. Something as delicate as you,”
“W-What do you mean?” I said cutting the bond between myself and my wolf once more retreating far from him.
My back pressed against the wall as I stared at him, wondering what was happening.
“This side has more dominion over my warlock side,” he said in a dark expression that gave me a hint that he might not have control over himself.
“And you willingly gave in,” I let out.
“I need just one bite. Let me drink from that precious body of yours, Frida,” he said in a doubled voice. It was almost like he wasn’t the one talking.
His fangs extended, with his eyes redden making me know that something was entirely wrong. And I was bait, and wrong for coming here.
“And then, what?”
“You can lie there, waiting for me your precious mate right on the bed. I promise you’re going to like every inch of it, love.”
He said, pinning my hands to the wall and licking my neck. “Let me take away the tingling sensation, you’re feeling,”
“What tingling sensation?” I let out wanting to get out of his grasp. I had snapped from my wolf but she kept coming back over and over again. And… my body, it was beginning to give in to him. “D-Don’t do this, please…” I trailed, not knowing what to do.
“I’m claiming you this instant, little mate. My urging is for you only and you can’t do a damn thing about it!!”
He growled at me, with his vampire side heightened.
