Chapter 18: The Sweet Revenge

         It’s been three days and Em loved the time she spent with Leopold. He is now fishing with Mario, though the former hasn’t fish, he tries his bet to learn and I think he caught one already. Leopold is waving at me from afar outside the hut. I see them both while I do the cooking through the see through glass where the kitchen is.  I am preparing for our lunch and I’m a bit worried how my cooking would end up, anyway it doesn’t matter, all will end soon, Em said seriously when her phone rang. Hello!, Dietrich, Je suis en lune de miel and porquoi apelles-tu? (I am on my honeymoon and why are you calling?) ..ahuh…haa, wi!, Em speaking in French. I know but I am on it!, attends juste et demissionne! (Just wait and stand down) He is alive and I want him to be alive, I think I will have to consider the fact that we are husband and wife now!,, the man on the other line became angry and seems blackmailing Em with something or someone which made her furious and worried.  Va te faire foutre! (f**k you). She ended the call even though the man on the other line is still anxiously shouting at her. REVO, hired me to kill Leopold and they paid me heaps of money even up till I grow old and die. But the conflict here is not because I couldn’t do the job but I because I am starting to love Leopold and I don’t know how I can kill him now that I’m pregnant with our first baby. No one knew but Dietrich, my French conspirator and spy from France who has affiliations with many Mafia like factions that hated the fact that the leader who was Tessa of the REVO groups disbanded and now questioning her integrity and loyalty to the cause. I maintained the low profile and knew everything from Leopold sneaking to my room, to the part where my mom and my dad met at the donut shop, Tessa and Rodolfo trying to revolt against the Crown. I knew it all for I am behind the REVO group. I am now the head of the revolutionary faction known to the world. I want peace and unity among nations and REVO still continued to support and help nations in the world to fight against terrorism and live peacefully, happily just like The Guardian keeping  all social media platforms for safe keeping and help the Cause but in a good and positive way. I don’t want to hurt Leopold neither would I cause war. But I will stop the violence once and for all. And Dietrich isn’t the man I need to help me in this quest. Em dialled a number and called someone speaking in Russian. Romano, pozabot'sya o Ditrikhe! on znayet slishkom mnogo seychas (Romano, take care of Dietrich, he knows too much now!), Em ordering the man on the phone and is dead serious about the issue that needs to be taken cared of immediately. Ponyal!, Romano understood what she wanted. Romano sneaked inside Dietrich’s apartment in Paris one evening and shot him on the head.  Romano cleaned the mess after and as if nothing ever happened inside the man’s apartment. Dietrich’s girlfriend came to visit but found the door open, finding Dietrich nowhere. Romano, placed Dietrich on a garbage bag and buried him on a secluded forest somewhere where nobody can find him and his tracks. Romano and Dietrich are just a few of the 20 spies and criminals around the globe. Maria is the head of a faction that turned revolutionary to help and support communities and nations in need of financial and political aids. Em led it but doesn’t kill nor advise her men and women to kill but it’s a prerogative to protect the Cause that no one will ever leave a trace of their group so as not to jeopardize their works and positions in society nor be known by everyone in the world to find and know about them. This group wants to remain anonymous and will remain unknown always. News spread all over Paris that a man shot in the head was found in a forest in Paris and his girlfriend knew that it was Dietrich Petrich, a world renowned killer and was imprisoned due to arson and multiple murders.

              Two days had gone after the horrific news about Dietrich. Baby we’re home, Em! Leopold shouted with Mario following him inside the hut. They just came home from a deal they made on a diving gig he and Em would go to later today. He smelled something cooking, Hmm!, wow, barbeque, with pineapple and …my baby!, Leopold ran to the kitchen and finding Em wrapped up in whatever she’s cooking. Hello dear, yup, BBqyou just like your BBme haha!, Em added smiling nervously when she just got out of a call with Romano about Dietrich.

               Wow, my wife has prepared a meal and it smells delicious. Mario make yourself at home while I shower, I’m sweaty all over. Okay, man, Mario replied happily. Then his face became blank and walked over to where Em is and sat on one of the chairs facing the table on the kitchen.

              Yeah I know!, Romano failed. Yet it’s out of her hands now, we can’t do anything with his death but to move on with the plan. I don’t intend to kill Leopold because we need him for the Cause. I love him Mario and I wouldn’t want him suffer too. So, after the dive we need to go back home to ensure his safety. Work with your men here and protect the our leaders believing and staying loyal for the Cause. Mario nodded agreeing to what Em said. Louis I need to skip the lunch, my missus called and need to tend to the kids!, I’ll stay and we’ll drink beer next time, Mario walking out of the hut,. Sure, okay next time, buddy, Leopold replied drying his hair with his towel.

              Em and Leopold prepared their clothing and themselves for the dive set for later. After lunch, both went for a swim on the beach while they wait for Mario. This place is heaven and as if I don’t want to leave, Leopold, especially when all I have is the breath taking beach and a beautiful woman, you, my wife, with me, he added very delighted while looking up the blue sky lying on the soft white sand on his back. Em smiled and nodded in agreement. Visitors seldom come in this parts of the waters, since Maldives is vast and amazing everywhere we look at it. While searching and waiting for Mario as their diving instructor for the day, Em with her hawk like eyes, saw a woman suspiciously searching for something or maybe someone on the far end of the beach. Em saw her and is about 300 feet from where they are now. Em grabbed her cell phone and called for Mario, yet his phone is busy. The girl she saw when Em went to check up on her closely , disappeared suddenly. What the f*ck!? Where’s that girl?, Em thought confused. Mario then appeared rushing towards them, he was breathing harshly and apologized for being late. It’s alright, my man, okay! Let’s go, Leopold said excited for his first time to dive. Em have been diving all her life when she stayed in Polynesia since the beach is very near to where they lived with her grandma Gisel. Mario helped Leopold with his gear, oxi=ygen tank, check, goggles, check, breathing apparatus, check, Leopold smiling happily since excited for his first dive, check, Em said aloud laughing hard. I love tis man, haaaa!, so killing him isn’t an option, I won’t have any one to play with and have my revenge on Grandma’s death. I know she said to forgive, but I’m not the type who forgives easily. Maybe a little more of suffering can ease the pain I felt when she died because of the Montfort Family, Em smirking with a smile like that of a devil.

              Mario and Em led Leopold down the beach at about ten feet deep just to have the feel of the waters and the animals like the turquoise and corals that are plenty to view on this end. They are so beautiful, colorful and so close to reach. Leopold touched the corals and the planktons, sea sponges with mall fishes swimming around them. The sea animals seem so acquainted with humans their no longer scared to be touched. Sea horses and clown fishes are so cute. Leopold swam and dived deeper like 15 feet at the most. He wanted to see the jelly fishes and the sea animonies more closer and he did, but as if in a flash Leopold’s oxygen tank incurred an issue, the air came out of it as if it was rigged. Maybe that girl did this and how did she know Leopold will be the one to use this tank? Em asked in her mind and immediately went for Leopold’s rescue. He can’t breathe and since I can breathe well in deep oceans and is used to diving, I gave him my oxygen mask. But Leopold lost consciousness. Mario came to help out and laid Leopold to give him CPR. I gave my husband first aid, and was worried what will happen to him. I wanted to kill him but changed my mind because I love him. I love you Leopold please wake up!, Em now shouting while doing the CPR. Louis, babe, pleasessss!!,

              Cough, coughhhhh!, Leopold woke and breathed hard at first but now is stable. Mario called for emergency and the ambulance sent Leopold to the nearest hospital. Since Em gave him CPR he was saved from death and Leopold kissed her so relieved she was there to save him. The doctor advised Leopold that he can go home soon. Mario apologized for not knowing and not checking their apparatus before the dive. They always clean and check their apparatuses regularly, so he didn’t know what really happened and how it happened. Em forgave him and advised for Mario to rest for the day. Em knew that the girl she saw was the culprit. Who is that silly girl I saw this afternoon?, I’ll kill her for this. Em said clenching her fist with a look full of rage. But Leopold held her hand and asked to come closer on his bed. Em breathed in and out, looked at Leopold and smiled at him. It’s okay, baby, all is well and I know it’s just a freak accident. No one’s hurt, and I know I won’t be hurt with you around, Leopold added kissing her on the cheek and intently looking at how she’ll react with the comment. Em hugged Leopold and seemed alerted with Leopold’s words. As if he knew about me and that what happened was for the best. Does he know about me? Em asked herself with weird thoughts of what if Leopold knew about who I really am?!. Em now realized she can’t lose Leopold and losing him is the death of her, She was so scared earlier, she thought she’ll lose him that moment. And the feeling was so real and instant, I don’t want to go through that experience again. So now you know how it feels losing someone, I’m sorry of my forefathers did your grandma wrong, accusing her wrongly. I hope you forgive me too for being a Montfort. I love you Em and that wouldn’t change even if I could end up dead someday, Leopold explained sincerely looking straight through Em’s eyes. No, Louis, never, I won’t let that happen, Em said crying while she hugged him tight like she will never let him go. I know and I believe you, baby, Leopold added and laid back down to rest.

             The couple went home to the hut and slept their night away since a lot happened today. Em hugged Leopold in her sleep and all seemed peaceful, happy now that she realized one thing  more  important than revenge, love. The lesson is that forgiveness goes hand in hand with love. I know I can’t live without Louis and even if it’s hard to let go of the hate because of what his family did to my grandma, I totally forgive him. I know time heals the wound. I believe when the right moment comes, I will be able to forgive Montfort Family whole-heartedly, someday, one day.

             A week has gone by, the couple has learned something about their honeymoon and  their amazing trip to Maldives. That love is unconditional and acceptance of who ever we love in spite of their shortcomings, is the key to a long lasting relationship. Trust and understanding towards your partner in life is very important, Leopold thought wisely. He knows all about Em and her part of REVO group. She is the head one of the largest revolutionary faction in the world. I know she loves me and I don't doubt her loyalty to me. When I acted dying in our diving activity, she rescued me. Thought I know she hated my family for what we did to her grandmother. She loved me back in spite of the pain and hate. She is in love with me and that's enough for me to attest that Em is a good person. I wonder how she stayed poised and humble having all that power? She can order to kill me without even knowing it but she never laid a hand on me or my family, ever. Maybe her groups is not bad after all. She is maybe the answer to all of the world's problems and I for one can say, she saved me in many ways I needed to be saved. I love her and I will protect her all the way. I would give my all even my life to  make sure she is okay and happy, Leopold said inside his mind while smiling at Em in the car. Mario is now driving them back the airport to aboard Montfort's private jet to fly back to Tunisia.          

            The happy ride to the airport strip was stopped by some kind of an accident. A girl wearing her helmet died instantly when her motorbike crashed on a truck. She is bloodied all over and her neck seemed to have been detached from her body. Em was shocked and thought what could have happened to her. She knew that that girl was the one responsible for Louis' accident. Yet who did this to her. She never ordered for her to be eliminated. Who then is responsible for this? Em looked at the rear view mirror where Leopold instinctively glared at her like he's worried of something, then smiled sweetly when he knew she saw the accident. Em had goose bumps seeing the ill fate that happened to the poor girl. She had a nightmare about it too, but Leopold came to her bed seat and comforted her by holding her hand. The couple is now on the plane on their flight back to St. Paul Vill.             

            Tessa was busy organizing the preparations for Leopold and Em’s return. Advising the house help to ready the rooms and the food for formal dinner with the couple, Lord Maxim and Victoria. Speaking of Victoria, she’s at the moment helping Maxim for his coronation day that will happen by the end of the month. After Leonardo and Lala visited for the couple’s wedding they went back to India for his promise to play golf with Lala’s dad. Rodolfo helped Em’s team to load their stuff on a truck to go back to Polynesia for other assignments they are booked to do, without Em for the mean time. Since Em just got married, she decided to stay in Tunisia for a year and settle down to tend to matters like her dad’s coronation and be with her husband for a while. Em is still the powerful head of REVO and vowed now to protect the Crown and her family. especially the people of Tunisia and the world. She ordered her leaders of REVO factions in all parts of the globe to settle down and keep watch. Enemies such as underground groups and revolutionary activists that are spreading negativities, war, chaos and inequality among people’s, nations and organizations. These animals seek souls to ruin and they strike when a person is weak, confused and wanting.            

                I will uphold peace, prosperity and strength among my people of Tunisia and all through-out the world. No one can stop me and if they do, they will answer to me personally, Em thought bravely. I always dream of bad and scary things maybe because I have settled so many setbacks, issues and peoples and taken cared of them in possible and easiest ways I can sometimes tragic and sometimes quick. It’s never my plan to kill or hurt anybody, but it’s just that some people are dangerous alive than keeping them alive. These monsters would rather raise havoc than work one with the factions. I am not evil but I am strict with my rules and beliefs. That I am who I am and I will make things better, if no one is doing something about it, then I will act to make it real and live even if there will be consequences or liabilities. I will be accountable for my own actions and decisions than be a leader or political icon that lies and never walk their talk, Em seriously thought, looking outside the plane’s window since they already arrived Tunisia and about to land the airport’s landing site.     

                Lady Beatrice is always on the watch of her son, Maxim especially now that his coronation is nearing. Since she can shape shift, the residents of Castle Montfort didn’t recognize her when she appeared to Tessa as a house help and when she changed to look like Rodolfo one time, which she really admired. Because Tessa was all sweet with him, though he was out securing Maxim in his rounds all over Tunisia preparing the citizens of St. Paul Vill for his upcoming coronation. Victoria is really busy sending invitations and informing leaders from Asia and Europe if possible to attend the coronation day. Though some leaders, llords, lady’s or dukes, prime ministers, men and women of power to gather in one historical and memorable event in Tunisia’s Royal Family. These leaders of nations in unity with Tunisia will help the world open people’s eyes that we can be one when we believe and act on what we believe in. We need to act now and work to make this world a wonderful and safe place to live in.

                Beatrice though queen of Montfort never hugged power to make her proud but upheld it to help her citizens and make up for the king’s loses and shortcomings. King Cronos was not a bad king but was not a good one either. He just did his job as king taking it as his responsibility but never held it as his gift or blessing but a curse. He wasn’t happy leading Tunisia so we just lived comfortably but not greatly under his reign. But when Cronan was crowned king after his brother since he was banished due to his vices such as gambling and womanizing, that led him to forget to do his responsibilities as king of the land. Cronan led the people to glory. He reigned for two years but during his first year as king many factions hated his guts and his goodness that their evil ways like the underground sales of drugs, hording government supplies on crops, medicines and more along with women trafficking, were disorganized and deliberately stopped operations. Cronan wanted to kill these evil vices and disband the groups doing illegal deeds but instead he was poisoned to death one night when drinking with his men at the castle grounds. I saw the horrible things they did to him and I didn’t know he loved Gisela dn got her pregnant. I thought he loved me and wanted him dead too but I didn’t kill him. His men did since they were promised power by the black faction that heads all illegalities in the country and the world, Beatrice disclosed while checking up on Leonardo who is with Lala now aboard Zeus ship in the middle of the sea star watching. The ship stopped to have some technical maintenance checks, and the captain and mates will turn on the engine after an hour. Beatrice just disappeared like mist and Leonardo thought he saw smokes at the tip of the ships nozzle where Jack and Rose stayed when they made out in the film Titanic. Anyway…

             Hey, what’s wrong? Lala asked while she brushes some hair out of Leonardo’s forehead who is lying on Lala’s lap while both are star watching.  I thought I saw something there, pointing at the ships nozzle or front end. Since they are at the center of the ship, they can see the huge form of Zeus and that even if the ship is big, the ocean seems to make the ship tiny over the vastness of the waters surrounding us. I wonder how’s Em and Leopold’s honeymoon? I hope when we have ours we can go somewhere nice or exotic like maybe, the Sahara Dessert or the Pyraminds of Egypt, what do you think? Leonardo asked enthusiastically. Haha! I think it’s not a honeymoon but a trip for research, yet it’s so cool to learn about the ancient times and the desserts. I would love to join you, but first we need to get married and then we can do the honeymoon after, Lala added gladly, kissing Leonardo on the cheek. Well, maybe we should start doing the honeymoon and….Leonardo said while kissing Lala on the lips and all over tickling her. Lala was giggling and looked at Leonardo lovingly. On the ships floor are a bottle of wine on an ice bucket, cheese and fruits such as strawberries and chocolates. The night is still young and love is in the air completely unaware of something to come in the abyss out there, someone is coming and she is going to turn the lives of Montfort family over and exciting.

              Gisel?????, on a spiritual form, that caught Tessa’s eyes when she was brushing her hair on her medium sized mirror.
