The Hybrids

Being called as the Ice Queen, Genevieve, a 16-year-old girl, lives up to her name. Her fame spread like wildfire, causing other schools to be curious to this Ice Queen and some even initiate random duels with her. Suddenly, she was pulled in a dark alley, beaten up by plenty of guys until she was tired to fight back. Though even if she was tired, her determination was iron steel. After a brief moment, a fast shadow decapitated all of the guys that was beating her up, leaving a headless body, spurting flows of blood. The shadow resembled a human-like body, though its head and some parts of the body… were not human, it was like a combination of a human and a feline, though with many scars and blood. After-screams were heard right outside of the alley and a running man was escaping from a creature that resembles a familiar insect… a praying mantis. She stumbled due to shock and took the attention of the creature in front of her. It grabbed her neck then put both of its hands and started choking her. She was about to die then suddenly, when she opened her eyes, she was back when her birthday was celebrated, a month before the incident. What are those things, was what in Genevieve's thoughts.
